Worst place to order food from the service sucks even when they mess up your order , food is improperly handling when being taken out when you ask them to put on gloves they give you an attitude while waiting for my order there where people also there to pick up orders the restaurant doesn’t care about online orders that’s what the young lady with glasses made is seem like they had people waiting 45 minutes just to pick up and online order. I’ve never had experienced such awful customer service in my life . When you ask to speak to a management they just get another worker to give you a big attitude and doesn’t listen to your complaints and fix them . The cook never has orders ready on time and when the online order people go to get an update they online come back with 20-25 minutes more never an actual time , I watch someone doing online delivery complain about waiting 45 minutes and the young lady at the order pickup area told him he has to wait another 20-30 very rudely and the gentleman was being very polite. This is a typical Jamaican restaurant ..bad customer service even worst when you ask to speak to management. I’m contacting department of health and filing a report for unsanitary conditions . Handling people food barehanded is disgusting and unacceptable. When also ask for someone else to take out my food with gloves they started getting very rude remind you I’m waiting in line for 15 minutes witnessing the horrible service to the delivery people I just thought it would have been a different experience for myself that’s why waited . But never ever again will I even think about ordering or going to this place . If you want horrible service go to this place .they whole staff needs to be fired especially the cook who can’t even inform the employees accurately how long an order will take to be made too many orders I guess and not a experience cook looks like . Give him some help so your customers don’t have to wait so long for their food . Give the food servers some training in sanitation requirements here in New York .. isn’t this why we have letter grades...

Our reservation was at 12:10. We got there maybe 12:15 and were seated right away. The restaurant wasnt crowded maybe 5 tables plus us. One table had 2, and rhe restaurant had 3-4 people per table. It was suppose to be bottomless rum punch...my daughter only got one cup/glass. I wanted one mimosa, I got that but then she brought out a "pitcher" of mimosas. I didnt want that bcz the mimosa was trash! They charged my son the brunch price which I thought was $40...he's a minor...doesn't drink, but yet they didn't bring out an extra drink for the adults at the table. So on the menu you could get shrimp and grits, oxtail rasta pasta and other brunch options. I wanted grits with oxtail and my daughter wanted shrimp with the rasta pasta. You would think a simple swap could be made, but I guess not and nobody came to tell us that. So we're waiting...they bring "complementary" pumpkin soup. I might as well been eating gazpacho. That ish was cold. Now ask me how the food was. I DON'T KNOW BECAUSE AT 1:20 WE WERE STILL WAITING FOR OUR FOOD! my son got his food chicken/waffles. When mine came i told them to wrap it up...no grits just regular ole rasta pasta. THEN, had to wait another 10 minutes for them to bring out my daughter food. The waitress was mid, like fake nice. Next day I go to eat the food and there were like 5 pieces of oxtail and it was so fatty. I feel sooo bad that my daughter had to pay for that crap. Like yall will never see any of us again. Read moreNot even too sure where to start. First off would like to say I give 2 stars for the food. The staff has great potential but management definitely needs adjusting. Spoke with the manager, we identified a problem and I don’t think he realized how to prevent it from happening again.
Part of the 2 stars is that it was very large group with no reservation which I know they weren’t prepared for. I informed the manager, spoke to the wait staff and tried to prepare them for the terrible service they were about to provide.
Appetizers: upon ordering appetizers I informed the waitress to limit the app menu that way they can just mass prepare a few items quickly. They ignored the recommendation and took almost 90 minutes to bring out appetizers.
They took another hour to bring out our dinner and even forgot some people’s orders. They brought out the bill and I informed them of some discrepancies which they adjusted.
The one waitress was arguing with one of the guests and although she had good intentions it was very unprofessional (let management handle disputes).
Over all the food that we did receive was ok. Service was absolutely a joke (we asked for water several times… we could’ve went to Africa and back and still wouldn’t have got the water).
Management you have a lot of improvements to make to get this place to its full potential. Accept the responsibility, fulfill your role as a manager or hire someone else to do the job properly.
Also it will also really help you if you guys had daily, weekly team meetings, trainings, and discussions on what happened throughout the day and how you can all work together to provide better service. As you can see based on your reviews, you all do a...
