Brooklyn Putnam Armory — Restaurant in New York

Okay 1. Love this place but wanted to leave a quick review as a “push” for the establishment.

I understand dog owners are frequent to this place but you serve FOOD!! And many dogs shed and hair floats. I’ve had dog hair float into my food one time. It use to be an ask that dogs stay outside. I think the establishment should stand firm in that. Keeps pets outdoors and not everyone is a pet lover. I’ve seen pets jump onto people, in the way at the entrances etc.

I think that bartenders should spread out at the bar a bit more, some times they hover in the same area not able to tend to both sections/areas of the bar.

I came here last night with my friend and the food was so good! I would’ve taken a pic but we ate it so quick didn’t have a chance. We got the large jalapeño/pineapple margs (only $2 more than a reg marg) with salt and they were SO good and not too sweet with perfect spice. The mozzarella bites were super flavorful and crunchy and the marinara wasn’t too sweet. Lastly, the fried chicken ceasar salad wrap was crunchy, flavorful and bright. The tortilla also seemed quality. We got it with French fries (also so good).

My dine-in experience is always very poor. The waitstaff is very inattentive due to their many duties. On my last visit, we had to leave the table and go to the bar to order drinks. We had to find the waiter to get additional napkins. The waitstaff did not have an opportunity to check on us at all. We tipped them out of empathy for their circumstances.

Management need to consider that during big games, or tournaments, the community will be patronizing them because it is convenient and the environment is comfortable.
