Bagels - not that exciting right? Wrong! Let me set the scene. It’s early morning, my family is driving back upstate, after a very unsettled night from our 9 month old daughter. We were all tired and hungry and just wanted a decent breakfast before our journey. We stopped in at Miss Bagel and I immediately got good vibes. The place is small but super cosy and the staff were so nice. My breakfast bagel was so good I almost cried. Piping hot, and so much flavor from just egg and cheese. Read moreI went to Miss Bagel on a Saturday around noon with a group of 6. We all ordered sandwiches and we waited outside for our bagels, each of us getting them one by one. The person behind the counter called me inside to get my bagel but also said for our patience, they wanted to give us two free pieces of cake! They also gave my friend’s dog a cookie. I didn’t even feel like we waited that long but it’s obvious they care very much about their business and customers. Witnessed the owner being incredibly rude to a delivery worker, who clearly was a foreigner and couldnt speak as fluently as her and remained polite, whilst both the lady and her husband screamed at him to wait outside. It was just me and a friend inside the shop and it was shocking to see. After I mentioned how unnecessarily rude she was, the owner and her husband just screamed „THANK YOU!
