First I’d like to state the staff is incredible. And at your service 24/7 But only because they don’t have a working key system the entire 3 days i stayed here. They had someone working with a universal key that had to unlock your door. For most of the stay the elevator was not working. There are no curtains in the showers, no garbage bins in the room. No hair dryer. The water from the shower will leave a the way through the bathroom, out to the room. Not to mention the train outside the hotel was LOUD. That seems to come on and off every ten minutes in either direction. Location can be sketchy if alone. Some guy seen me outside and followed me to the front door and I had to be let in by the front staff just in time where the guy couldn’t get inside because they had the door locked at night. Tv was really good. Needless to say they are very new and still installing things and receiving deliveries everyday. Mattresses, mirrors, are what I saw. I forgot to mention, the sheets and pillowcases smelled like body odour. They looked clean but it had an unusual body odour scent. Edit: have you noticed that all the “good” reviews are from Indians ? (The workers are of the same culture) … I’d say they prioritize their culture.

I must admit, I booked this budget option because it was the most reasonable pricing for a weeks stay. However, I went in with higher expectations than I should have for this place based on the photos. Now I really just needed a place to sleep every night and this fit the criteria. That being said, there are still plenty of other areas for improvement. Cons: Elevator - slowest one I’ve used to date Key reader - “worked” but clearly broken. They said maintenance would fix it, never did (during my stay atleast). Thankfully the deadbolt worked. Key card - they had to refresh it almost everyday because it would stop working. Front desk was quick to fix every issue. Bed - sheets had a stain. Comforter looked like someone put a cigarette out on it with the one spot. Dont even have fitted sheets? Smoking - for a “non smoking hotel” it sure smelled like cigarettes/weed Room - very small. Hard to move around. Thin walls to hear others. Pros: AC/heat unit worked great Fridge was a nice touch Huge TV Bathroom was modern Friendly staff Fast internet! I would stay here again if I was in a pinch but otherwise I will be looking elsewhere to start. It served it’s purpose.

Don’t make the same mistake I did. Trying to stay “close” to the Barclays Center, I booked a room at Hotel Mirage in Brooklyn, and it was a complete disaster. 🔴 First of all, it’s not as close to the stadium as it looks on the map. 🔴 Second, the area is dirty and rundown. 🔴 Third — and worst of all — the hotel is extremely dirty. – The sheets were stained. – There was hair from previous guests in the bathtub (see photo). – The elevator was broken 3 out of the 4 days I stayed. – The vending machine ate my $10 and didn’t work, and no one warned about it (the front desk guy did give it back, though). Even if it’s a 2-star hotel, cleanliness is basic, and this place fails hard. If you’re coming to Brooklyn, stay with a relative—just don’t stay here.

Where do I even begin? Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed that the towels provided were dirty and clearly used — an unacceptable first impression. Throughout my stay, there was a persistent smell of marijuana in the corridors, making the environment unpleasant. Adding to this, there was a “trash room” located right outside my door. When I opened it out of curiosity, I discovered a bottle of urine on the floor — and despite checking over the following days, it remained there, completely ignored by staff.

One of my biggest frustrations was with the service — or rather, the complete lack of it. I approached a woman at the front desk (whom I saw there every morning for three days in a row) and politely requested room service each time. She looked me in the eye and assured me it would be taken care of. Yet, each night when I returned to the hotel, my room was untouched.

Considering the amount we paid for our stay, we expected basic standards — fresh sheets, clean towels, and regular housekeeping — without the hassle of repeatedly going down to reception. Shockingly, there were no basic amenities in the room either, such as a hairdryer or an iron, which is frankly unacceptable for the price point. It felt like we were paying a premium for facilities and services that simply weren’t there.

On one occasion, after expressing our frustration, a staff member who delivered towels said he would “speak to the managers” on our behalf. I found this suspicious — why were we not allowed to speak directly to a manager? Was there no manager present who could address guest concerns personally? The conversation with management also took place in a different language, which felt even more inappropriate and dismissive.

Out of five nights, we received proper room service only once. I personally become overwhelmed when things are disorganized, so the complete neglect of room upkeep only added to the stress. On the day of check-out, despite everything, I was running 30 minutes late — and received two calls from reception pressuring me to leave. Ironically, the person calling was the same lady who had repeatedly lied to me about providing room service.

The level of hypocrisy and disregard shown throughout my stay was truly disappointing. Before leaving, I made sure to share my feedback directly with her.

Overall, this experience was far below the standards one would expect from a hotel at this price point, and I would strongly reconsider staying here again or recommending...

The room is nice , big TV, fridge, phone worked, nice hot shower. My room didn't have a weird smell and I didn't see any bugs or anything like that my only complaint is my fridge leaking a little bit other then that the hotel is fine.oh and the price for the room goes up and down so it's best to book early to get the best rate because I was told 150 on the phone got Here and was told 170 but it worked it out with the person that checked me in. My key worked also no problem with it I would stay there again

Update decided to stay a extra day and they do uncharged I called just to see how much it would be was told one price got down stairs and the lady tried to uncharged me 10$ don't appreciate that 🙃 so the hotel loss points in my book...plus she was nice yesterday but today seemed upset maybe because it's early all I'm going to say is call before you get there and make sure your getting the on the phone rate imagine coming to a hotel with that exact amount you were told in cash only too be uncharged once here i would be so upset so im giving a heads up this hotel needs to work on customer service and they need to stop changing the price every couple minutes talking about the price goes up and down when i literallyjust got off the phone with you 2 minutes ago....went from 4 stars too 3 that fast....

Also the prices for the next few weeks are ridiculous charging manhattan prices the rooms are okay but 300 and up is crazy not worth 300 a night it's a okay hotel like I said but yeah no how do the rooms go from 150 too 170 too 300 a night I can assure none of the locals are paying that maybe tourist but I highly doubt it when they can go up the street for cheaper also the latest you can check out is 12 after that it's 50 dollars till 2 and you can't pay anything less then 50 so if you only need a hour that's on you basically the minimum is 50 oh I forgot too mention I was there 2 days and didn't see a house keeper no one knocked on my door to change the sheets, take my garbage or give me fresh towels didn't even see a house keeper till i checked out....also you can hear the train all night but they want 300 and up if im paying 300 and up im going too...

1 Star (because 0 isn’t allowed) Honestly, if I could give zero stars, I would. This hotel does not even deserve one star.

We stayed here during our trip to New York and had a really bad experience from the beginning. The front desk lady (an Indian woman) was extremely rude, unfriendly, and didn’t even smile or greet us properly when we arrived. But of course, when we were checking out, she suddenly smiled just to ask us to leave a review. And she said her name is RAJ🙄 Very fake and disappointing.

We arrived just 2 hours before check-in time, and even though the room was already ready, she charged us $50 extra! No flexibility, no courtesy, just money-minded behavior.

The room itself was dirty—the floor hadn’t even been mopped, and there weren’t enough towels provided. It didn’t feel like a cleaned or fresh room at all. No attention to detail or care for guests.

To make things worse, the elevator was out of service, and we were staying on the third floor. We had to carry all our heavy luggage upstairs ourselves—no help offered, no apology, nothing.

This hotel has zero hospitality, terrible service, and a cold atmosphere. Don’t be fooled by a smile when you’re leaving—they only care about reviews, not actual customer experience. On top of that, other guests were blasting loud music from their rooms all the time. It was so noisy and disturbing, the hotel did nothing. No action taken, no one cared. Zero hospitality bad vibes no real comfort.

I really regret booking this place. Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. There are many better options in New York at that price. where you’re treated like a guest,...
