Brooklyn Public Library - Macon Branch — Attraction in New York

The place is quiet, SOME staff are helpful and friendly. Just started going to this library. I'm homeless and unemployed. I was filing out a job application online and after 60 minutes right when I was about to submit the application the internet goes out for 15 minutes. Staff literally could not have cared less about trying to fix the situation with enthusiasm one woman dragged her feet and seemed bothered to do her job which was to just check the connection downstairs. Really love the organization of this Library. It's clean and well kept, security keeps things in order and most of the workers are friendly and helpful. Although once I did have a problem with using the Laptops because a young lady insisted that the time usage for handing them out had concluded for the day which I was clearly confused since the time was in print and had not yet arose. I was never allowed usage of the laptops if that certain young lady was administering. However I would just wait for the desk tops with no problem. Despite that, overall it's one of the...

Love this library but they need to be more strict about the people who sit here just to be on their phones talking nonstop. I maybe wouldn’t mind hushed voices while on the phone but I’ve already got my earphones on listening to music and can hear the dude on the next table on his phone. It’s really annoying. Lots of people actually come here for peace and quiet to get studying or reading done and there’s gonna be 2-3 people on their phones. Is this a...
