Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in New York

Food is a 10/10! Employees clearly know what they’re doing. However, the reason why I give it 3 stars is because after a shift around 4:20, I got to speak to an employee in the parking lot who often cooks my food. They said they don’t receive any breaks, have occasional difficulties with their schedules, and don’t feel valued nor respected... I quote,” if something was to come up and I have to miss work and can’t get a cover, I would be fired”. I was also told, no one ever really wants to work. I have a teen at home and let me tell you…Teens are hungry to make money and for them to not want to work must say something about the way this place is managed. I might be wrong this is off my judgement but I felt bad for the employee. Even if it’s a 15 minute break I’m sure it would be good for the worker and for the customers...

As I’m sitting here eating my burrito from this place, I have to say I’m pretty disappointed. Firstly, this place opens up at 12. Go in before that and half of their items are “out of stock” this will include things like queso and much more. I ordered a steak burrito and noticed the employee started wrapping my burrito without putting the steak in. I had to tell him, and thank god I did, in which he then proceeded to reopen the whole burrito, making everything go everywhere and look like a pile of green throw up, added the steak, and closed it back up. They were also out of queso and NAPKINS OF ALL THINGS WHEN EATING A BURRITO so that’s cool. Looking at previous reviews it seems like there are ongoing issues with the particular branch and management just doesn’t seem to care! Anyways my 2 cents my lunch break...

Don’t waste your time. Staff is polite but seems entirely untrained and clueless. Completely left out half of my order out of the bag! When I got home I called. I came back for the missing item, only for it to be made incorrectly and then had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order to be made correctly after everyone in the store made their orders...people who even came in after me. An additional 20 minutes plus returning to them for ONE burrito bowl and their mistakes. Completely unprofessional. Absolutely no attempt to make it right either. Waste of my time & money. EDIT: I got home for this order to also be wrong and missing ingredients. Labeled vegan and vegetarian items are cooked with meat and taste like meat grease which is both disgusting and a health concern. Definitely will not...
