Bushwick Gourment Deli — Restaurant in New York

This guy here is extremely disrespectful. Every time I come to this store with my kids in the morning, he has a bad attitude. I was trying to order an iced coffee, instead of him telling me what flavors & creamers he got an attitude because I asked & he started yelling at me telling me to hurry up he’s busy, there was only 1 other customer in the store. Then he continued to yell at me & saying he’s busy I need to hurry up & get out. He & a customer then followed me out the store and both were yelling at me in the street & calling my kid disrespectful names. He’s done this to me before while I was 5 months pregnant, i was ordering & he yelled at me telling me Im ordering too much and too slow and he’s busy and I need to hurry up. The kitchen area is dark and dirty. The salad toppings are always dry and old in the deli area. They need to get rid of him & clean that dirty kitchen. They over charge EVERYTHING. The rolls are never soft they’re so hard that when they toast it, it cuts...

So I used to get my breakfast sandwich from until I saw once the person sneeze into his hand and then without washing his hands he continued to make my sandwich. When I asked him to stop and make a new one, he refused, I explained I saw you sneeze into your hand and continue to make my sandwich, and he denied it, so I walked out.

Today it's raining and I needed an umbrella. I should have known better, but I figured it's an umbrella. I got the umbrella and used it, got to the corner of the knickerbocker, and the top broke off. I dropped my kids to school no more than 20 min had passed. I went back in asking for my money back. The guy goes no you been gone for a hour....sir I was gone and back in 20 min. His coworker knew I wasn't lying and told him to give me my money back. Obviously, the co-worker knows the umbrellas are faulty and didn't try to argue about it. Because I am the type to tell him to rewind the camera to see prove that an hour has passed when it wasn't...

Our order has never been correct from this spot and definitely have been overcharged. I’ll never forget one particular time I ordered a veggie sandwich with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapeño, onion, pickles and green peppers. It ended up being a dry hero with no Mayo and literally just red bell pepper and the wrong cheese. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but it’s so sad getting the wrong sandwich several times and paying 12 bucks for it. If you’re in a pinch I’d get a bacon egg and cheese but even that takes a minute and who knows what they’ll charge. Train the deli guys! That’s your bread and butter and you’re in a location where you’d benefit from...
