Taqueria Acatlan — Restaurant in New York

I previously had a problem with a delivery from them. I was called on the phone from Acatlan and got a very nice apology. The call was triggered after they received a fax from grubhub about the unpleasant issue I faced with the delivery. A week later I stopped by. I ate and had a nice meal. After I paid my bill, I introduced my self leting the lady know I was the person with the delivery bad experience. I was expecting a frienddly smile or nice comment been that they had not lost a customer. In the contrary, she said " Oh, ok" and turned around. I guess they now have lost me since their customer welcoming is not warm at all. I guess she must have figured oh well, you've paid çiao now. I was very happy to pay for the good food, but since they have no customer appreciation I guess I'll take my business elsewhere. Bye...

I have been to this restaurant several times already. The experiences were not bad (sometimes they charge me taxes, and sometimes they don't) except for today.

I wasn't charged taxed today but someone else seemed to order before me in person and managed to get his order faster than mines! Perhaps he was a friend of the workers there. However, he received a boxed container for an item that seemed to be similar to mines (burrito).

In the end the food worker stated that I was wasting his time even though it didn't take more than one or two minutes of his time. Don't recommend this place. There is another restaurant which is a little farther on Wyckoff, and Grove, and they serve their take out orders on boxed containers. They seem to be friendier, and off the bus stop (while...

Went here for takeout! This is a great authentic Mexican spot serving up all kinds of deliciousness. My nachos were $8 with all of works- queso, fresh avocado, a side of salsa verde, made on the spot fresh chickens, cream, frijoles, and the list goes on! These nachos were a huge hit with my friends. This place is also open 24 hours so it’s a great place to come grab a bite after checking out some of the local Bushwick bars off Myrtle Avenue. The scenery is lacking. This is definitely a take away spot, no frills.

I would definitely return to this place. They accept cards which is nice because there is no Chase bank around. I have not tried the delivery, so i can’t comment on that. Though i think it is available...
