HORRIBLE Work Environment. When I first got interviewed it took the person on site 2 hours to interview people. During the interview process the person was telling the potential hire that the company isn’t the best due to dealing with childish employees but as long as you mind your business you should be ok. Once interviewed I never received a formal email in regards to moving on. I was just asked if I can come in for a on site interview. At the interviewing process I was given a $18 pay rate and when I got my acceptance letter it said $16.50. I was placed in a facility in Harlem with 3 men and one female. Upon working there I noticed health violations & work violations occurring. Such as serving cold food to kids, taking breaks to smoke w33d & not even giving the employees thorough breaks. After awhile of dealing with no break I started to arrive to work late because if I’m working 7 hours with no break why not come in late to basically make up for not receiving one ? I expressed this to higher ups once I did I was then placed back into the facility with a supervisor who continued to taunt and make me feel uncomfortable. I walked out mid shift due to being talked down upon. I highly doubt not recommend applying with this company. I will be reporting them to the health department and etc with the video...
Read moreLike most businesses within a tourist attraction location. This cafe/cafeteria offers you an experience like a mall cafeteria but not many choices to choose from.
They have a hot food section with chicken tenders, tater tots, fries 🍟 mozzarella cheese sticks, personal cheese or pepperoni pizza, 🍕 hot dogs 🌭 and some choices of hot sandwiches made when ordered. Plus, they have some sandwiches and wraps on the refrigerator as well.
They also have a smaller size kiosko they serve up café. Hot and cold coffee drinks. Some pastries, snacks, and some cold drinks. (soda, Gatorade, energy drinks, juices)
The staff members are friendly and my experience was a good one with receiving help from the staff members. The supervisor (Victor) was very friendly, and he was the barista that day on my visit.
It's not the best food all around, but you make good with what you have. 😉 A little on the high end on prices, but most businesses like this are all doing it. That's my reason for the...

Obviously no one would expect the food in a museum cafe to be good, but the sandwiches are absolutely disgusting. Deli meat is old and discolored (didn’t notice until after taking a bite) and bread is soggy. Tastes like it’s been sitting around for days. All the hot food is sitting in a heater, similar to what you’d find at a gas station- same quality too. There are good snacks like fruit cups, chips, and...
