Food was alright, nothing to write home about. Service seemed alright in the beginning but got terrible toward the end. They exhort 18% tip for bad service. Two of us went for dinner on Saturday night around 7pm. There seemed to be more waitresses than customers. We ordered drinks, ceviche mixto, and lomo saltado. Ceviche was decent, chicken and beef in saltado was overcooked and chewy. Waitresses were young and attractive but seem quite undertrained. They didn't get us any water until my husband asked for a glass well into mid way of the meal. They kept asking us if we were done while we were still eating...and we are not particularly slow eaters. When they brought me a check,18% tip was already included in the check. I wasn't happy, but I dutifully pulled my wallet out to pay. While I was placing cash onto the check folder, a waitress came to the table and said to me "Are you done?" I thought that was extremely rude for her to basically "demand" I hand over her the money as she stood over me at the table. I was about done, so I handed her the money with the bill. She went behind the bar and counted the money in plain view. She quickly glanced over toward me and motioned another waitress to come over and as they talked, she was pointing at me. Our bill came out to be $47.58 including 18% tip. I gave them $47. Another waitress, who spoke little English came over to me to say I didn't pay the full amount. I pointed out 18% tip was already included and asked if 18% tip was mandatory. She didn't seem to understand. So I simplified it for her said that I want to pay 58 cents less for 18% tip included in the check. She said she will talk to the manager, spoked to another woman behind the bar and told me it was okay for me to go. I felt like I just got exhorted. My husband got back from restroom at that moment and I explained to him what just happened. This is my mother's favorite place to order (she's Peruvian). I have certain diet needs thus I asked her to order a side of rice for me. She did and they sent fries, she called and the lady on the phone told her she was wrong and that she asked for fries not rice. I don't think so! My mother not wanting to argue decided to hang up because she refused to admit they made an error and were unwilling to fix it. So here I am writing a review instead of having dinner. Trust me sending over a side of rice would have been in your companies best interest.

If you enjoy a company who blames the customer for their mistakes instead of being able to admit their mistakes and rectify them this is the place to order from.

Edit: I also had her order a side of maduros, the box they came in was completely mushed and the bag they were in was soaked in oil. I ate three and found a fry in the missile of the mushed up maduro blob. The rest of the order was up to my mother's standards, but epic failure on my two...

The whole staff is shady. They brought us our food and over charged us. The price on the menu was not the same on the bill. When asking for the manager, he basically ran away and didnt come back. They said we knew what was going on and did nothing so now we have to pay that price on the bill. They claim they let us know what was going on but didnt. They are shady and unlawful. Dont recommend this place. Always make sure you know what is going on in the restaurant before even ordering. They trick you. They over charge and then claim you knew what was going on. Plus the waitress was horrible. The food came late and the they charged for something we didnt order. Not worth it. Dont go to this place. I was with my family.
