I HAVE LIVED IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD FOR 20 YRS, AND HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF THIS CHINESE RESTAURANT FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THIS PLACE...EVER. THEY DO NOT DEAL WITH DOOR DASH...NOR HAVE THEY EVER HEARD OF IT. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A WEBSITE, SO THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE COULD ORDER VIA DOOR DASH, UBER EATS, GRUB HUB OR ANY OTHER APP SO THAT HAS TO BE A MISTAKE. THERE AS A PLETHORA OF CHINA KITCHENS IN THE BRONX. I CAN'T SWING A DEAD CAT WITHOUT HITTING A CHINA KITCHEN...SO MAYBE THE PERSON WHO PLACED THAT ORDER PAID ANOTHER CHINA KITCHEN AND MIXED UP THE ADDRESSES BECAUSE THIS ONE IS NOT THE ONE THAT TOOK THE ORDER VIA DOOR DASH.

KNOWING THEM THEY THOUGHT IT WAS A REGULAR ORDER COMING FROM THE STREET OR SOMEONE'S APARTMENT AND THEY WERE COMING TO PICK IT UP ON THEIR OWN..NOT SEND A DELIVERY SERVICE OVER TO GET IT, AND EVEN IF THAT WAS THE CASE, THEY WERE LOOKING FOR THEM TO PAY WHEN THEY ARRIVED. THEY HAVE NEVER TAKEN CREDIT CARDS...EVER. SO WHOEVER THAT WAS WHO TOOK YOUR ORDER AND YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WAS NOT THIS CHINA KITCHEN...IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN, SINCE THEY DO NOT HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO TAKE CREDIT CARD ORDERS. THERE IS NO CREDIT CARD MACHINE IN THEIR FACILITY...AND NEVER HAS BEEN.

DESPITE THIS MIX-UP...

SHE WANTS TO APOLIGIZE FOR SCREAMING AT YOU, EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS DOING SO IN HER OWN DEFENSE. SINCE HER ENGLISH IS NOT GREAT...I AM WRITING THIS FOR HER. MY NAME IS REBA, AND I HAVE KNOWN THEIR ENTIRE FAMILY FOR DECADES. SHE IS NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON TO BE RUDE TO ANYONE...EVERYONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD LOVES THIS FAMILY FOR THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND THEIR COMPASSION.

SHE WANTS TO HUMBLY APOLOGIZE TO YOU IN PERSON. SHE SAYS IF YOU HAVE THAT RECEIPT SHE WANTS YOU TO COME TO THE RESTAURANT TO SHOW HER, BECAUSE SHE WILL HAVE TO GET THE POLICE INVOLVED IN ORDER TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. THERE MUST BE HACKERS UNDERFOOT, AND THIS IS NOT GOOD. BECAUSE, THAT MEANS SOMEONE IS TAKING ORDERS IN THEIR NAME, TAKING MONIES FROM CUSTOMERS ONLINE, AND NOT GIVING THE ITEMS PURCHASED. THAT IS A CRIME, AND SHE WANTS TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. SO PLEASE COME BY AS SOON AS YOU CAN SO WE CAN RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. SHE KNOWS TO CALL ME WHEN YOU COME SO I CAN HELP EXPLAIN THIS TO YOU...

I hate to give a bad review, but simply put, this was an incredible disappointment. To start on the wrong foot, I found a hair in my chicken wings...

This obviously is a food safety issue. In addition, by far the worst egg rolls I have ever had in my life. Clearly mass produced, frozen but the worst part is that it wasn't even fully cooked. The dough was entirely raw and dry, with hardly any filling inside. Not at all what would you expect from a NYC Chinese takeout egg roll.

Lastly, the entree did not taste fresh at all and had a day old or frozen essence to it.

To really nail the coffin shut, the prices here are exorbitante and you will feel like a schmuck for buying into it because you were hungry.

I hope they can turn it around, but I def will not...

I ordered from them thru doordash, there was no where that mentioned they didnt accept credit cards. I had a large order and they took my money and then cancelled my order and now I have to wait for money to be refunded. I called the restaurant to find out what happened and the lady that answered was extremely rude, could barely speak English which means I never got a clear explanation. I heard good things about the food, but the way they treat their customers...
