Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in New York

If I can give it 0 stars I would. My husband went in to buy us some dinner. He gave my order and it was a burrito bowl with half chicken and half steak (my usual order). They put chicken only and then passed it to the next person. He then tried to explain again that he wanted half chicken and half steak. They proceed to put another spoon of chicken and tell him it's extra. He then realized that they were not understanding him in English so he spoke in Spanish. They then seemed to understand but added more chicken and then he stopped them. He ended up paying for extra chicken twice over because of their incompetence. They did not offer to do the order over or comp the extra chicken they piled on. The order was not complicated because I have gotten this order numerous times before in other locations. If the staff did not understand something they could have asked him to repeat himself. This is not okay. Because not only did we pay something we didn't want but we paid extra! Absolutely ridiculous. This Chipotle must either be closed or its management changed. I stopped by for a bowl while in the area and regrettably didn't check the reviews first. I would have been better off throwing my money away than eating here. The customer service was atrocious; the person serving my food barely gave me a spoonful. When my payment was declined, the employee responded with a nasty attitude, even whispering negative comments to a coworker. After checking my car for cash and completing my payment, I checked my bank statement and confirmed I had funds. I was shocked that Chase flagged a $160 charge from Chipotle when my actual order was only $16.

Don't order from this location for your lunch breaks. While the proportions are fine, order from the mobile app at this location has been the most miserable experience. Constantly understaffed, no one man's the mobile delivery area, and so you politely interrupt the cashier to ask to get your order. They will then tell you, "Just one moment, I'll be with you". Over the next 25 minutes, you'll have to interrupt them 4 more times. They will then begrudgingly walk over and hand you your order that has been sitting cold for half of your lunch break already.
