Marisco Centro — Restaurant in New York

Visiting the restaurant I had to wait about 25 minutes just to get food to go from the tray section. I was in line and the servers behind the desk knowing I was waiting kept letting people skip. I ask nicely why they kept letting the people skip me and they just responded in a rude tone. Finally after receiving the food I was about to pay until another customer came in and they served him right while I was waiting to pay. I waited about 5 minutes. After a customer tried to skip me again I told that person I was here first. Once again the employee gave me attitude and weird look. Another thing Their food is ok but not great. I wouldn’t recommend getting food taken out because I spotted two roaches coming out of one of the trays, I’m Not kidding it was real unfortunately i forgot to take a picture. In conclusion this restaurant has very bad service and if theirs a problem with something they’ll just try to pretend everything is ok and be very rude to u not no reason evening when your being professional to them. Their not nice and really bring the vibe down in the restaurant. Whoever reads this, Who knows maybe Your’ll like it from a different experience but just a heads up they really are mean people and I’m not going back there ever.

While Working at the Bronx terminal mall for 5 years at Home Depot, this is definitely the worst restaurant to eat at. I can’t not recommend...

This place was delightful! It is so Spanish I love it. The place is clean and really inviting ambient. It feels full of culture. There is plantains and seafood and good music. The bar looks appealing to me and everyone that works there is well dressed and spiffy looking. The bathroom is adorable with a cute water fountain to wash your hands. The only thing is that the garbage was a bit too full. Maybe nobody did a sweep of the bathroom for a while. The food I ordered was good but it lacked a couple of things I look for in an Alfredo Pasta. Like the white pepper seasoning and parm cheese. Other than that the pasta was pretty creamy and the Shrimp was seasoned really well. It was pretty tasty so it kind of balanced the sauce out. I did take out because the price of a 20 dollar dish was 30. Just felt a tad bit over priced, not so much where I couldn't come back but just a heads up. They do have other deals that are more affordable but the pasta was something we wanted to eat. The pasta comes with no salad and no bread or anything. usually that's something you'd expect in some places so do not expect some of the dishes to come with complementary sides. Some of they do come with 1 side. Other than that the seafood that I saw was made fresh and looked super appealing. By far one of the worst experiences i have had eating out. the tables was dirty and my girlfriend and i moved over to the next tables. The first cup of water the waitress brings up the cups are dirty and she gets us new cups with water. the waitress was very neglectful and didn't even put bread on the table (once we received the bread it did not look fresh more like left over bread from other tables.. 3 pieces) we order a appetizer the "mofongitos rellenos de marisco" and the plate was a mess. The seafood was frozen (if i could attach a picture if i could) My girlfriend orders the "chicharon de pollo sin hueso" its lukewarm as if it has been sitting out and the breading is soft she also orders a side order of tostones and guess what... Its also lukewarm not hot out the frier I ordered the sopa de pescado. The soup had more fish skin then fish meat. The broth had no flavor. I tried dressing it with lemon and tabasco sauce, it didnt help I had my arm waving in the air for someone to help because my waitress was no where to be found. I had to walk up the the bar with my cup to ask the bartender to fill up my cup with water.

To make things even better the live music was super loud making it impossible to have a conversation. This experience was over priced for mediocre food and terrible service. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO...
