Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in New York

The service today was absolutely terrible. I normally order from here but I will never do that again. I was ordering a Sofrita Bowl with chips. The server asked me if I wanted extra cheese and I said yes. As I get to the cashier, someone that was serving someone else told the cashier Sofrita bowl with an extra side. My server looked at her confused. I asked if she was referring to me because I didn’t add an extra side. My server said no. That server repeated herself to the cashier. I told the cashier that I didn’t order extra meat or guacamole so I don’t know what the server who didn’t serve me is talking about. I explained that the chipotle app don’t even charge me extra so why charge me extra? She basically said that is the new rule is to charge extra on cheese or I can speak to the manager. I said OK I’ll speak to the manager because I really felt like that person was acting very stupid. Before she heads to the manager as she tells me “Ya mother”. That inappropriate behavior should not be allowed. I also tried to explain to the manager about the issue and her behavior and they still wanted to charge me so I left the establishment with a Sofrita bowl that will end up being tossed in the garbage. The rude server of this chipotle location needs to learn about customer service and professionalism. Trust when I say, I will make sure this goes to corporate.

Update: Just got off the phone with Melvin who works with Chipotle Customer Service. They opened a case on the store due to them making extra changes that they are not suppose to make and the server’s inappropriate behavior. He ensured that this will be investigated....

Ordered online for 820pick up

Got there at 830 order not ready

Security guard yes security was not allowing anyone In as it is order on the app only Chipotle

Since I ordered at home I was allowed in to wait

Get inside crowd of people over the cashier

Food area was the dirtiest I ever seen Food piled high sitting on table for pick up

I asked for my order again now 2 employees looking not ready

Went out side came back in whole new crew in the front asked for my order again and told them been waiting over 40min yes just for a pick up

Someone said ms I got you asked my name printed out a receipt started working on my order when annother associate said I feel like I keep making this order

Another lady went and checked bags again and long behold in the bottom shelf for 1 hour was my food !!!

I told them give it to me they said no you want your food fresh I said no I want to go and I don't waste food

But nooooo they wanted to remake my order and guess what everything was wrong And guess what they had no more sauce No corn No brown rice and something else can't remember

Didn't get the chips for each order i paid for and when I came back for my 2 cups for my drinks i paid for the same lady who saw I was there for a hour had the nerve to screw up her face!!!

By the way my son didn't want his food same night put it in fridge and lord the smell in the morning That sour cream was sour !!!

Don't go here Go to East Coast Street Tacos instead it's right around...

I have never seen anything like this before. Store was running out of food by 8 p.m.! There were at least a dozen uber drivers waiting for orders and 4 in store guest waiting on line to order, when a male employee comes over to guest who were waiting, to explain to them that the manager called and told him to only take online orders and guest in the store should be turned away and told to leave and order online, because they couldn't accept anymore in store orders!!! They had run out of pork, vegetables, black beans and low on beef. NOT to mention they were low on rice and lettuces as well. Of course a disagreement occurred between the employee and a guest began after guest had been waiting at least 15 minutes to place their orders and were now being turned away. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!!! Where does this happen? I know one Pennsylvania and Linden. Then the employee says to the guest and i quote" Keep Talking and You Can get your Chipotle someplace else!!!! What the Heavens is that!!!!!!!When purchasing Chipotle I will visit the Howard Beach or Ralph Avenue Store in the future!.. Management Please DO BETTER!
