Comfort Sisters Eatz — Restaurant in New York

I went to a bar in Brooklyn named "the Rusty Nail" to get a drink and my olfactory senses started going crazy. I asked the bartender if they served food, she slid the menu my way like a Vegas card dealer. She said the smell that grabbed my curiosity was "the Sammie," A succulent Grilled Salmon burger. I ran to the kitchen and I ordered it immediately with fries. By the time I finished my first beer my order was being placed in front of me. The Chef approached me to explain the process and ingredients of this delectable lunch. I'm sure I seemed rude because as the chef was talking to me I dived head first into "The Sammie," I did not have the capacity to talk. The salmon burger was cooked to perfection and the sauces were absolutely packed with flavor. I liked it so much I returned the next week and tried "the SRoomie!" I was really craving a real burger and just didn’t feel like cooking. I pass this place all the time and never realized it was more than just a bar. Since it’s close by, I decided to order a burger to go. When I got there, I noticed a lovely sign advertising homemade sorbet—my favorite! I added it to my order. The sorbet was incredibly fresh, and you could really taste the real mango.

The burger was no joke—a true “biggie,” just like it’s named. The lettuce, tomato, and meat were all fresh. You can tell they use quality ingredients, not frozen patties or wilted produce. I was really impressed. The next time I need a break from the kitchen and have a craving, I’ll definitely be back.

This is for take out order only. The burger was ok. I ordered three burgers for pick up for my family and they were all pretty rare. With all these food borne illnesses going around, no one wanted to take the chance so we ended up cooking our burgers on a pan. I wish the website had stated that the burgers would be cooked rare unless otherwise specified. I also noticed that the website stated there would be havarti cheese on the burgers and all of ours just had cheddar.
