Newkirk Fruit — Local services in New York

I recently visited the Newkirk Fruit Shop location at Newkirk Plaza. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor customer service, a lack of cultural assimilation, and rudeness from the staff.

The customer service representative seemed uninterested in helping me, and when I asked for assistance, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Furthermore, the store's lack of cultural sensitivity was evident in their sales strategies that push you to purchase fruits that is nearing shelf life and inability to accommodate my cultural needs.

To make matters worse, one of the staff members made a rude comment that made me feel unwelcome. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of my cultural background.

To improve, I suggest that this provide cultural sensitivity training for their staff and expand their "product & service offerings" to cater to diverse customers. It's essential to create an inclusive environment that respects and values all customers.

Overall, my experience was disappointing, because of the way I was treated and I hope that they will take steps to address these issues and provide better service to their customers.
