D' Montazo — Restaurant in New York

I have ordered from this restaurant for months via seamless. I always order the same thing, family combo #1, which consists of a whole chicken, rice, beans, salad and a soda. This time I decided to order an extra beans and rice so that I could have some on the following day. My children ate the night it was ordered and when I went to eat it the following day for lunch around noon. I found multiple maggots in both beans. I was extremely disgusted and upset as my children already ate it and I had 1 bite before noticing. When I reported to seamless they called the restaurant and advised them and they stated they would not refund me. Which ultimately wasn’t even what I wanted. I just wanted them to rectify the situation. Seamless did in fact give me a credit on my account. If you chose to order be careful of what you eat.

DO NOT come to this place.. the service is disgraceful.. they have disgusting customer service and a very horrible attitude. Not only that they love to steal from clients like myself because they have a preference of South Americans only.. THEY DO NOT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE.. They will triple charge you and skimp you on the food and when you see the South Americans eating their plates are full meanwhile yours is counted and very skimpy and they want to over charge you. Ordered tres gulpes (eggs, salami, fried cheese & mangu ) to eat in. No AC in there and it was kinda hot. I didn't want stay there for long. The food was pretty good. Staff was very lax and it seems they barely have any waitressing experience. It was ok, nothing you gotta tip for. I don't mean to be cheap but it didn't felt I needed to. The waitress brought the coffee and food. And thats the last I saw of her attending me. I had to go to the register myself and pay.
