D'Morena — Restaurant in New York

I usually don’t give reviews but ……I give it a one star for the dj honestly the only thing worth coming in , they don’t make cocktails or at least they try but it was the worst ever I have had my whole entire life and that horrible to say ! and $15 dollars to top it off , the minute I sip the drink i instantly let her know … the bill came and she charged me the drink I legit told her to change it to another drink and got charged both that is fine but I think it common courtesy to at least accommodate a customer if they tell you it taste weird something simple like a margarita shouldn’t taste like that and it complaining about the drink that it is nasty … I have never seen this before in any restaurant, either explain that you have no knowledge in making drinks or don’t charge a person ….. at least get a trained bartender , the establishment has potential but my experience wasn’t the best. They claim they didn’t have bottles but the table next to us was popping a few seems like a place everyone knows each other ….most likely a all family run business , let’s not even go with the waitress I counted 3 tables unattended no menus given no catering at all for a while mind you it wasn’t packed at all ! Which doesn’t make for the excuse, instead she was smoking with the table next to us , waited and waited for a order that never came unless we called her over and it turns out the kitchen closed and some lame excuse they didn’t have what we ordered but if she wasn’t called we wouldn’t have known we waited a while and I was wondering why was she just sitting smoking hookah I will never come again. Whoever owns this place is losing business , they need new waitress , bartender and overall a better staff ! Why invest in a business to...

Her food is nasty and I see cockroaches walking on the walls even saw hair on my food noticed the cooker in the back touching there private part then serving my food. Also noticed how one of the workers were disrespectful to a teenager even saw a lady hit a kid. I don’t recommend anybody coming to this restaurant. If you want good food...

I came in for a few beers. The waitress would disappear, so we had to go hunt her. The DJ was something else 🤦🏼‍♀️ he would change the genre so abruptly that it hurt. He would go from the most romantic bachata to the wildest dembow without any warm-up or introduction. I don't think I would ever come back...
