Prospect Coffee Shop — Restaurant in New York

EFFICIENT AND PROMPT! I ordered at 7:20a; food arrived 7:25a. I don’t mind the precooked food, they keep it fresh and warm even on days when I order 3-4 hours after they’ve opened for the day. Same person takes/expedites orders every single day. I know they change cooks 1-2 times per week, but food still tastes great; fresh products. The coffee is SUPER HOT, nice roast flavor, I love it. 3 sugars is enough if you like it sweet-sweet. Make sure u specify whole wheat toast. If not, you automatically get white. Great food, fast and friendly service. But the courier for this establishment should be more friendly and thank the customer when receiving the money even before counting it. I always tip so a thank you would be nice (only was the only today the guy was mute, maybe once before but it was soooo long ago and it may have been some other guy. Meh 🤷🏽‍♀️). ...

This place was a cash only place. Yoy can sit down and be served but I didnt know so I ordered than sat down. I had a Salmon salad for 6 dollars. Only thing looks like they marinated it in oil or butter. I left upset because I got Ketchup on my khaki pants. Someone spilled ketchup and I sat on it and didnt know. Luckily I was going to workout and had a pair of capri pants. Then while In was in the bathroom someone kept knocking on the door. I opened the door it was a big Dark skin man. Every time I order from Prospect, the man taking the order is so nice and courteous. The food is great and the portions are big. They are so efficient with delivery orders, it's like they knew I was going to call. If they don't answer, its because they are busy. Just call back and NOT leave a nasty review because of that! Cash only. Tip the delivery guy also....
