Danny Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

I'm SUPER disappointed with my experience here. I order from here ALL the time, have put my friends and family on to this place and the employees really treated me with disrespect. I ordered two chicken pan pizzas with pepperoni and spent a total of $36 SPECIFICALLY for the chicken, the pepperoni is $2 extra. I got the two pizzas and they both had NO chicken on them. I was going to call the same night but I got an unexpected call and had to leave my house. I kept the pizzas and did not eat them and called them the next day to tell them so I can get the pizzas replaced. They passed me off to THREE different guys, who offered me either a $2 credit or extra chicken on my next pizza....are you serious? I offered them the pizzas back and finally got them to agree to replace my pizzas. Then someone calls me back 2 minutes later, (some rude young woman) and says that I should have called yesterday and that they can't replace my pizza. I told her about my emergency and how I still have the pizzas and she told me that I'd have to give the pizzas back. Like I already told all three other guys that I will return the pizzas?? Literally all of them were so rude, which was surprising bc I always order from here and have had good experiences but this was literally a joke. I'll probably still eat here bc the food is bomb. but I hope you guys figure out how to treat your regular...

Food - Delivery on 5/4/24 Everything about this pizza was just horrible. None of the ingredients were fresh, but obviously canned or packaged. Almost no sauce whatsoever on the pizza with cheese that tasted like it had been in the freezer for months and lost all its flavor. Worst part is they used the cheapest ingredients while charging outrageous prices. Italian salad had no pepperoncinis, minimal tomatoes, almost no onions and topped off with canned olives. This is just not what I was expecting from a place that has over 4.5 stars. The one good thing I can say is the dressing was pretty good.

Service - They had a delivery app that was very easy to order through but that texted me that the pizza was on its way after we were half way though eating it... the app did not register I had received my order till we were completely done eating it.

Atmosphere - The atmosphere is N/A though throwing out the leftovers of a meal that cost almost 50 dollars was painful to...

Very friendly people, but food can be better. I grew up in New York City and I have tasted pizza from basically every borough and I now live like four hours away and when I was down here with my boyfriend, I was really craving city pizza and it I found this place is pizza to just be OK it’s edible but not worth raving over, the rice ball that I got was very good and the beef patty with cheese was very very good. The price was very good to for how much I ordered. Just wish the Pizza Had a little bit more flavor. I had the plain slice and then I had the lasagna slice and I was not too fond...
