Walgreens — Local services in New York

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. The people who work in there are so lazy and make excuses as to why your medications aren’t filled on time. You can have a prescription that you picked up a dozen times and they will literally tell you they don’t have your insurance card on file, or your need a prior auth or that it’s not in stock orrrr if it’s not in stock they will never call you to let you know when it is! They also will fill the medication and let you know it’s ready for pick up and then when you go to pick up said medication they will then question the strength and the motives behind the medicine! Then they will have to call your doctor to confirm the prescription is alright! Why didn’t you check this before filling??? They’re overall the worst pharmacy and the dumbest incompetent pharmacists I’ve ever encountered. My doctor sent in a rx that didn’t have the strength on it totally her fault but Walgreens couldn’t even call her or me to tell me for 2 weeks straight… they are just so lazy and never know what they’re doing in there. I hate this place I now will go to silver rod pharmacy where I am treated and greeted with respect I also will fill with bobo pharmacy as well which is also really great and they...

My favorite store for snacks disappointed by meds delivery delays on pharmacy. I will get my snacks but medication ordered delayed for health care if I was going to die to get medication I be dead today 2 weeks showing medication delayed. Ower your responsibility for taking care of your business for customers health care. Insurance coverage for medication was accepted still delays. Your business needs your assistance in getting your costumers medication delivered to store and customer care. Disappointed your short supply and staff. I sincerely hope you never have to deal with this location of Walgreens. My mother's specialty medication was sent here by her pcp by accident, instead of her mail-order pharmacy (CVS), and getting the medication to her has been more cumbersome than pulling teeth without Novocain. We never received a txt, or a call that the medication was ready for pick-up, then when they finally did confirm that the medication was ready for a pick-up, the pharmacist decided to question the doctor's choice of the dosage; something perhaps that should have been done before verifying and filling the rx.
