Deli & convenience store — Restaurant in New York

First things first. These are new owners! The old owners sold the store to people who tried to sell me a dozen of regular white eggs for 10.88 $ I repeat basically 11 dollers ,that’s not even with tax included ! Then when I told cashier or owner who ever he is.. that that price was unacceptable he tried to sell me down to 5 dollers lmao. EXACTLY ! Trying to scam me for what ? I could understand some organic eggs which are sold most delis / and grocery stores for about 8.99 some places, 10. I have tried to order food several times in the past from this place and the two times I tried to order , way before closing they said they couldn’t make a sandwich. Absolutely dumb. Save your money and go to other deli’s close by. It’s unfortunate you tried to play your self with some one who use to come to this place daily to order sandwich’s and buy items as needed bc they are close by , This was when other owners were involved. You will be losing money, I promise you. Not just from myself but many other people in the neighborhood that catch on to there sketchy pricing and there...

Today was my first day since they’ve opened I heard so many good things about this deli and that gave me high expectations and I was not disappointed! I walked in and everybody was extremely nice and welcoming. I ordered the Mr. Prosciutto, The Turkey Club and a potato knish and they were amazing. The Mr. Prosciutto was perfect plenty of meat, a great amount of balsamic vinegar and a healthy ratio of cheese and peppers, definitely recommend! The potato Knish was toasted to perfection, probably the best knish I’ve ever had. That being said they’re menu is amazing, it’s got a little bit of everything and you don’t really see that nowadays. If your ever on the area you should definitely stop by and order! I definitely hope to be a regular at this deli. Keep up...

Drove by today on my way to NYC and decided to stop in for a quick bite. I had the eggplant wrap with veggies and my son had the cheesesteak sandwich with cajun fries. Everything was made to order and tasted great. The staff there was friendly and courteous and gave some great food suggestions since it was our first time. I don't live in the area but do go to the neighborhood frequently for work and now I found my go to spot for lunch when I'm in the area. Will definitely be back...
