Docky’s — Restaurant in New York

This bar is so wonderful! We hosted my 50th birthday party here this past Saturday night and from start to finish, the owner (Jennifer) and entire staff were amazingly helpful and so kind. The bar has the best atmosphere from drink selection to lighting to decor to the big screen (which in our case was playing 80s music videos all night). They also helped to find the most spectacular DJ (@dj_psych_major) who was absolutely phenomenal - our guests didn't stop dancing all night. The size of the bar is inviting for larger or even smaller crowds alike because it's so comfortable. The dance floor is also the perfect size and placement within the bar. We stopped here and after about 5 minutes of talking to a woman in the bar, we asked where the bartender was. She said “outside smoking” As a joke we locked the door. When he tried to get back in we let him in but he was rude and kicked us out. As former bar owners our thought is if you have customers you come and tend the bar. Whatever, won’t be back.
