Dominick's Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I have been going to this place since I was a kid and I still love it till this day. Best slices in Sunset hands down. I have tried all their slices and pies and you can really tell that they use good ingredients not that cheap crap. The employees are so funny they always make us laugh and they are always smiling and aim to please. I am a picky person and i'm sure if this was any other place I would have gotten attitudes for the special orders i place, I know i can be a pain but they certainly never make me feel that way. They always willing to make their customers happy and comfortable. Great place for dinner too. I love their menus( the lasagna is my families personal favorite) . The menu is big for whatever me and my family is in the mood for. They even deliver Ice Cream, Shakes and any Icy you want. Who does that around here? They are just awesome love you Dominick's ! Please dont ever change ! And if anyone gives you any less than 4 stars they probably did not order right or they just don't know what they are talking about, theres no way anyone can say this place has bad anything. It’s a traditional Brooklyn pizzeria which offers much more on the menu than pizza by the slice & whole fresh pizzas. I posted a photo of menu with prices.Pizza by the slice, calzones, rolls, zepoles, patties, mozzarella sticks & most of the carry out type food was on display in the long case on the right as you come in. There are 5-6 small booths on the left. The pizza oven is in the front too. All the other magic happens in the kitchen. We had homemade lasagna & an order of calamari. Ample portions were served. The lasagna was floating in sauce & gooey mozzarella. The calamari were fresh & not overly breaded served with a cup of tomato sauce. Both were served with fresh bread with butter on side. The sauce was good but a little bland for me but perfect for my daughter. No worries: on the table are shakers of salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, crushed red pepper, and parmesan cheese. Zepoles were a perfect ending to the meal. Little fried donuts with powdered sugar sprinkled on top, not overly sweet. It tasted similarly to a funnel cake rather than a glazed donut. The atmosphere very chill and tables are clean. Got the game playing on the TV and the volume is not too loud. The service was quick but kinda distant. Like he looked more focused on the game than getting my food. Now to the pizza. I ordered a regular cheese and buffalo ranch which came out to a total of 8 bucks. Very cheap for the quality and quantity. The slices were very crispy but not so crispy it’ll cut your lips. The flavors were well balanced and nothing was too salty or too bland. The flavorful sauce, the well melted cheese and the crispy undercarriage was all well balanced. Just my type of pizza. None of the chicken was dry which is hard to get on a pizza.
