I paid almost $1300 for five nights. First night they put me in a room next to a huge fan by the next wall, I couldn’t sleep at all. They change my room, I try to sleep and someone from the reception knocks the door “20 times” at 9am to wake me up and put me in another room… The new room the light is broken, as you can see in the attached picture, and WiFi doesn’t work at all, on and off connectivity, have to waste my phone data smh. I let them know in the morning and 6 hours after the WiFi still doesn’t work properly. I DONNOT RECOMMEND this hotel. Bad experience overall

The worst place I have stayed! The hotel is a non-smoking room, but there are holes on the sheet that were scalded by cigarette butts. The constant noise outside the room, and the hotel front desk harassing you by constantly calling while you are resting, telling you that they are constantly monitoring your room, I thought my privacy was violated, it was horrible. I do not recommend anyone to this hotel. If I could, I will give 0 star.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a few days for our first visit to New York. Highly recommend this place, had a great view of the skyline from our room! There is a lovely park and beautiful cementary nearby, there's great food in the area and the connection to Manhattan is still rather quick. Staff were friendly and helpful as well. All in all great value for money.

This place is a scam. They did not let me stay in the room that I reserved. The receptionist guy kicked us out after talking to us, saying that we cannot check in because the person who books it has 3 more months until 21 year old. We told him that no where on Booking.com when we book says that so we did not know, they didn't ask for out birthday when we reserve either. He said its our fault because had we book on the hotel's website, it would say it, then kicked us out. We come in a party of 2 and the other person is 21+ yet he would not take it. We checked the hotel's website and it never says it in their Terms and Conditions or Policy. Our Booking.com agent called the hotel and once he heard "Hello I am from booking.com", he hung up right away and did not pick up the calls made after that. He charged us for the reason of "No show" and charged a $200 canceling fee, the price we paid for the room. We showed up, we talked to him, the hotel's website never showed the policy and yet we are charged and declined for it. Not to mention the attitude he has on the phone before we even showed our faces to the hotel. When we just walked in, he was nice to someone staying there but once he saw our faces, before even knowing us, he didn't greet us and instead said "what is it?" I have booked hotels before and they always ask for our names and birthday, because if they only accept 21+ then the reservation would be stopped right then before we actually put our card numbers down. At least a nice welcoming attitude before anything would have been good. I read these reviews and they all sound good that is why we book it with them but nothing is like the review. No policy or terms and conditions shown on their website or on any booking websites regarding reservation minimum age yet they allow it to happen then charges the customer...

This is a really good hotel for a really good price and the front counter employees were nice. But there are things I wish that were a part of the hotel room. First, I wish there was a "not distrub sign on the door". I didn't want the cleaning service to come in without my permission. Next, the shower. There was no shelf in the shower to put my bar of soap and shampoo. I had to step out of the shower to put my bar of soap back in my soap dish on the bathroom sink. The tile floor in the shower I wish was a little bit cleaner, there was a brown stain on the floor. Also, there was no towel rack on the outside of the shower door. The towels and wash cloths are placed above the toilet, and I had to place the towel on the bathroom sink. So not have a shelf in the shower and a towel rack is an inconvience. One of the nighstands I used to put my electronics on to charge, the top of the nightstand slid off. I didn't use the dresser, but the top drawer handle was broken and the bottom was missing. In the closet, I wish the hangers weren't hangers bought from the $1 store. At least have the hangers black so it'll look more chic. The t.v. channels and internet weren't that great. But all in all, the room was clean and the shower (in my room) was semi-clean, and it had a mini fridge and mircrowave in the room which is a big PLUS. This is truly one of the best hotels for the price...
