What a horrible experience throughout. I love Domino's pizza. I enjoy this from time to time as a cheat meal, though its been a long time since I've last ordered. I also moved since last time. So when I placed order, I selected this location as it was the closest. So I place my order (Two grilled chicken caesar salads, build your own pasta with alfredo sauce, ham, onion and mushroom and two medium 2-topping pizzas) and leave the tracker open. I notice that its stuck on the quality check stage for a long time which has never happened before. I then get a call that they didn't have the chicken caesar salads. They wanted me to select other items instead, but I decided to just not get them. This was a bit difficult for them for some reason, but eventually they refunded my order and then replaced the order without the caesar salads. (I checked funds, all good). At this point 30mins have gone by, but it isn't until another 40mins that I get the food. About 5mins before I get the food I call the driver and find out he went to another building by accident
Now up until this point, I wouldn't have complained or written a review. That's the type of person am.
I had some slices of each pizza. My partner had the pasta. Wake up this morning and my partner has full blown food poisoning. Vomit.. Diarrhea.. The works... Completely decommissioned her.
Very disappointed. Will never...
Read moreIt’s domino’s, what do you expect? The food is 100% dominos, and while that doesn’t mean it’s a great local Queens pizzeria it’s open late and it’s predictable and not so bad. And the price isn’t so bad. But like, okay, what bothers me is that there’s a $4.49 delivery fee. That’s not a tip to the driver — it says so right on the page.
So if I give the driver a $2 tip, that’s already more than I’m spending on the cheapest thing on the menu just to get it delivered to me.
Oh, and there’s a $15 minimum order for delivery, so if I get just a $5.99 pan pizza it is less than a dollar shy of that minimum. So I just ordered a hot sauce dipping cup. I’m gonna try the sauce, but I really don’t want it. I’m not gonna order two pizzas because they won’t stay good long enough.
And the worst part? 11 pm on a Thursday night it’s gonna take up to 84 minutes if they deliver it on time (which they are usually good at).
All in all, it’s dominos and for that it’s great. But I wish there were another Dominos in the area, because when the delivery fee alone is just $1.55 less than the cost of my pan pizza, AND it wasn’t enough just to get it to my door. I don’t know why I’m loyal to these guys. Maybe I’ll check out Pizza Hut...
Read moreBad customer service. I ordered online and requested delivery to my apartment door. When the delivery driver arrived, he called and said he could not deliver to my door because he was double-parked, and asked that I come down to the lobby. I explained that I could not because I have a baby that I could not leave unattended. He then told me during his interview, he was told that he would not have to go upstairs to anyone’s apartment. He said I could cancel the order.
I called the store directly and explained the issue to the store personnel. He said the driver could not deliver the order to my apartment because it’s raining. I requested a refund since the delivery driver could not complete the job.
This is a pattern of behavior with their delivery drivers to give the “double-parking” excuse for not delivering to apartments. The last time I ordered, another delivery driver gave the same excuse, however, when I explained that I had a baby and could not come downstairs, he was empathetic enough to deliver to my door.
I will not order from this location again due to the dishonesty and...
