Dragon Palace — Restaurant in New York

Ordered food on beyondmenu app and applied one of the available coupons to my order which entitled me to a free wonton soup. Five mins later I got a call from the restaurant from a very loud and rude female telling me my total was wrong I had to pay for the soup. I told her I applied a coupon for free soup and got a confirmation that it was approved at which point she told me coupon not good and I had to pay for the soup. I informed her in that case forget the soup I would just take the items I ordered. She then started to argue with me that the soup was made and I had to pay for it. When I refused she started yelling at me at which point I told her she could cancel the entire order if that was how she was going to act. She then told me she would give me the soup for free. I informed her it was fine either way and she hung up. A min later she called back from a different number to ask me when I would be there to pick up ..I informed her someone was on the way and would reach there in less than 15 mins at which point she started to yell at me that the food was done and I needed to come now. I explained that I had just ordered the food less than 5 mins before and we couldn't get there sooner ..she yelled again I needed to come now and hung up...another female called back yet again two mins after the first at which point we were a block away and started yelling that they were busy and I was wasting their time and we would now have to pay for the soup ..at this point I was furious and didn't even want the food anymore but my bf said he would go in and deal with it....he parked and went into the restaurant at which point he was told that he would have to wait because they had sold part of our order. At this point he told them forget about it and we left...ten mins later we get a call from them asking if we were coming for the food or not ..he tried to tell her we had just been there but before he could finish she cursed him and hung up ....NEVER AGAIN...THE CUSTOMER SERVICE...

Ate here since I was a kid and still loves eating here. I’ve known the cashier for a very long time and she’s very nice but at times she’s a bit frustrated. My childhood favorite was always Boneless ribs and still to this day I love it. Delivery takes around 30-40 minutes but the food is very delicious. Chicken with Broccoli and General Tso’s Chicken is also good. Sometimes it’s hard to understand them since they didn’t learn English but I can understand what they are...

Need to learn how to Speak to people. English is just fine when it comes to money. Spent hundreds of dollars here since I moved in the neighborhood a year ago. Almost ever Saturday. And have to nerve to get loud and rude on the phone over putting some tartar sauce on my food. Then turn around And yell at me Thst i have to pay 50 cents more for some tartar sauce. Seriously!!!
