Dream Gourmet Deli — Restaurant in New York

The Cashiers are always chill but some of the cooks can't get an order right if there jobs depended on it, there's one guy in particular that legit messes up my orders so much that i think he does it on purpose because no one can be that bad at their job, like this guy is the sort of person that will mess up a grilled cheese sandwich. I asked for a bacon cheeseburger the other day was charged for a bacon cheeseburger just to get home and find no bacon, and no ketchup on it; who forgets the bacon on a bacon cheeseburger??? like this cook has his head up his a$$ 95% of the time. Too distracted, and you got to repeat yourself like a broken record just to keep getting orders that are STILL wrong. I like the environment + the food there food is good when he's not the one cooking it. Advice: if you order once and you get a jacked up order, that's probably the cook, and steer clear of the deli area when he's there, because you will get a ham and cheese sandwich without the ham, or a lamb gyro vs. a chicken, you just can't win. Another time i asked for a sandwich not toasted, and he toasted it, you have to put in more work to toast bread but he did, like how do you mess up...

Rude staff and constantly changing prices. The prices are different depending on who’s working, and what mood they are in. Prices can go up or down by as much as $2. If you ask them to scan the items into they’re register so that at least you get some consistency with the pricing, but if they don’t like the price they will just say that’s not the price and quite some other more expensive price. You would think their register would have the actual/current prices of the items they sell since the prices would be entered into the registers system by the owner or manager, but nope they don’t care what price the register says. I refuse to give my money to an establishment with such horrible business practices and just rude and disrespectful staff. Avoid this place. Go to Nadal’s up the block, the staff is great, prices are consistent and the food is the best of any...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered a chopped cheese and the man barely gave me meat. The chopped cheese was $6 and it was disgusting. Im disputting the charge with my bank and will never go there again!
