On February 6, 2022 at 7:50 P.M I walked into the Dunkin Donuts at 79-27 Main St. Flushing, NY 11367 and there were two Indian crew members there. Although I was the only customer, I waited two minutes for my order to be taken. I didnât mind waiting because I was in no rush.
Finally an elderly Indian female worker approached me and said âNEXT CUSTOMERâ. I said âHi may I please get two double chocolate donutsâ? She put the donuts and the bag and proceeded to ring me up. After she rang me up, she stood there and looked down on her phone, without telling me the total.
I asked her âHow muchâ? And she replied back âNot much at allâ. The Indian male crew member looked at her and started laughing and he said âit is much, what do you mean not muchâ.
I looked at the register and saw my total which was $3.98 and handed her a five dollar bill. She took the money from me and put it in front of the register, and asked the male crew member to cash me out. The male crew member got the change and left it on the counter for me to grab.
I immediately asked for a refund due to the disrespect and lack of customer service. I am a student studying business and criminal justice at St. Johnâs University. I worked retail and hospitality jobs before. I was shocked to see how these crew members treated me, although I was so respectful.
I highly suggest anyone that is ordering from the franchise to put your audio recorder on before going in.

Something happened with the register and my order was voided. The cashier refused to replace my order and her boss came over and retook my order. Since something happened to their register, I lost my rewards points. When I explained that they used my rewards points in the previous transaction, the man was rude, dismissing me and rushing me to pay. He didnât want to hear it. We didnât get our Matcha green tea for a long time. When I asked how much longer to get our drinks, the older woman tried to give me someone elseâs drink that looked like it was sitting there for a while, without the whipped cream. I asked the employee to make me my drink. The employee walked away, told her boss to shut up and refused to make the drink. I had to demand they make my drink. Overall, it ruined my mood and my child was confused and frustrated. Another young lady asked about the status of her coffee, the employee pointed to a medium cup.    Read moreThe manager is very rude person. I do not know his name but he is the only short, patite guy there. I think he might be Filipino. I ordered a few times before. First of all they take forever to give your order. Second they mess up the order half the time. One of those times I asked for some ketchup. He yelled "you did not say please" as if though he is trying to teach me something. There is a different way about teaching people manners and that's being nice to them, in turn they will eventually get the point,, if not right away reciprocate and say please and thank you.
I'm in the medical field for almost 20 years and I know that masks do not prevent people from getting or giving a virus any virus including covid 19. Im not able to wear the mask fully on my face because I cannot breathe. Last time I nearly passed out at Costco fully wearing it. I walked in to dunkin donuts today and they refused to take my order. I tried to explain to the manager he shouted to his staff get away from that man and do not take his order as if though I was spreading something and getting everyone infected.
