The vibe is undeniable! The music is amazing and the food is really good but the service is so terrible that it takes away from the experience. I’ve been there twice, first time was on Mother’s Day. The service was terrible but I thought the overwhelming amount of people contributed to the service being that way and said we'd give it another try on a less overwhelming occasion. It was actually worse the second time! We went during brunch and there weren’t many people there for us to have the same issues again! Only 4 tables were occupied. The waiter had us waiting almost 30 mins before even coming to give us a menu and take drink/appetizer orders from us. It took an additional 30 minutes to receive our drinks, and we only got them because someone from my party went to find the waiter and ask what the hold up. We were supposed to do the unlimited cocktails for a 2 hours and the time starts from the moment you place the drink order so our time was wasted waiting. The waiter had an attitude that we went looking for him. We asked him could he take our food orders upon bringing our drinks and he didn’t come back for 20 minutes before actually taking the orders. Our food didn’t come out until 45 minutes - 1 hour later and we also only got about 2 drink refills because the gaps in which he came back to check on us were so far stretched. The waiter was extremely nonchalant and didn’t care that we had to keep getting up and looking for him. We even had to ask another waiter to find him for us for our bill and to go plates. Also, no one greets you or checks for ID, reservations or anything. You just go right in and linger about and hope to find a seat. Overall, they need better...
Read moreI visited Edge Lounge back in June 2024 to celebrate a friend’s birthday. This was my first time visiting this location. Prior to entering there is someone to check your bags and quick pat down to make sure you’re not bringing in anything. When we arrived, it was still early and wasn’t as crowded so the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. As additional guests started to come in, it began to become suffocating inside. Thank goodness we were in the corner; we also would go outside for some air. When we arrived it was still happy hour, I order the chicken quesadilla which was really delicious. It wasn’t enough to fill me up as they only give you half the quesadilla as it’s happy hour. I requested a regular menu which took me asking about 5 different staff members and almost 30 minutes later. After I finally received a menu and requested sliders it must have taken almost two hours to receive it. They were even sliders they were huge. I wasn’t a fan as it was really thick and lacked seasoning. I didn’t finish my first one and didn’t even touch the second one. The fries were okay. I will say the music was great. I think I’m giving the rating mostly for the music. This location is accessible via express bus and regular MTA however I took an Uber to and from. They accept cash and card. I’m not sure if I’ll return to...
Read moreIf I could rate this place 0 stars, I definitely would. I called for a reservation for 4. Myself, My Husband , My 12 & 18 yr old Children. They didn't mention ANYTHING about age restrictions. We arrived about 6pm. The Dread refused to seat us because My son is 12yrs old. He said if everyone is not 18+ we had to take our food to go. I told him I didn't see anything pertaining to age on the website. The sign out front says Edge Restaurant and Lounge. This is not a Lounge that just so happens to serve food. Furthermore, the Restaurant was practically empty. There were 3 People at the bar. My Family and I could've been seated and served in the corner far away from the bar. The point of this review is so that No one else waste their time going with People under 18yrs old. Please put the age limits/ restrictions on...
