Starbucks — Restaurant in New York

When I have a bad day nothing makes me happier than iced chai.......I have ordered the same chai at every starbucks but this starbucks in particular really knows how to make you feel like shutting them down because of the customer service. I always order a iced trenton skim chai extra milk light ice and asked to charge me an additional tall coffee due to the size ........EVERY SINGLE starbucks has done it for me but this one even the ones out of state allow my order. Again......today, a horrible day they did the trenton anyway but didnt have what i wanted to eat which was the chicken wrap protein pack........didn't have it........so im at the drive thru sadd because of whats going on and I say outloud "damn, this really isn't my day". So the manager Miguel says "No, I guess not". Wow, you would think you would get lengendary service even from management with a smile and some severity. I guess through the years Starbucks may make it's money with caffeine but the attitudes from the employees and service is beginning to decline.......its sadd......i woked for Starbucks years ago and they wouldn't...

I hear lots of people say that Starbucks coffee is so expensive. That is not true! I have explored other coffee shops, and Cup of Joe's coffee for a 12 oz. Costs $3. + change, and it wasn't that great, it tasted as though it was there fir a long time., Dunkin Donuts, is another high priced and watered down coffee. Compare Starbucks, a 12 oz. Is 2.34, and they even have an 8oz, which is called a 'short'. Where, other places do not offer a 8oz cup of coffee. Also, I have learned and been educated, when they are brewing 3 canisters of coffee, a Fresh one is brewed every 8 mins., and 2 canisters are only brewed every 15 mins. If you see the light flashing on the coffee canister, its sitting there longer than it should. Request, that if you the, to brew Fresh batch, which they will do without hesitation. Do not accept a pour over, if not properly measured correctly, can ruin your taste buds for the day. Some know how to and others don't. Its like looking for a needle in a haystack. I was over the moon when this Starbucks opened. It was one of the first in The Bronx. It’s the perfect location for the Morris Park/Pelham Gardens community. There aren’t many places where the community and families can gather in the area all year round, so it’s always a pleasure coming here seeing folks with their kids, friends, or families.

That said, the mobile service here isn’t so great. They get backed up pretty easily, so you end up waiting for 10-15 minutes, which renders the convenience of mobile ordering to be useless.

Recently, I ordered a drink through the app. Waited so long that I figured I’d order a pastry at the counter. I finally received the drink (the young woman who made it was very sweet and the drink itself was pretty good!). However, the pastry never showed up. I waited an additional 7 minutes until the young woman asked what I was waiting on. She retrieved the pastry and apologized for it sitting there. I appreciated her kindness.

I’ll never stop coming here. It’s my neighborhood Starbucks and I love it. That said, I hope there’s a way they can...
