El Paisano Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in New York

I saw a sign for a cheese burger,onion rings and a soda posted outside of the store for $11.00. I go inside the store I mentioned the photo and order two orders for me and my child. He then states it’s 32.50 due to added taxes. I was very confused, felt swindled, SCAMMED taken advantage of. Horrible experience. Trying to get an affordable deal at a local establishment that I walked passed and being lied to directly to my face. Being baited and scammed through false advertising and then being being spoken to down to and lied to as if I did not see the correct sign or as if I was lying and having my character questioned in front of my child when I was just trying to find an affordable deal to feed us both in return I was humiliated and spoken down to. The staff was very nice and understanding, the food was good. Will order their lasagna again that's for sure, they make it just how I like it! Wings were good, listened to instructions, also teied their carbonara pizza, it was good too just not big fan of ham on the pizza, too sweet imo, I thought it would be a type of bacon or prosciutto on it since it said it was a carbonara but it wasn't bad just not my cup of tea, small was 25$ so a bit on pricey side but it's a specialty pizza so, understandable but just an fyi. This pizzeria is definitely the best in Throggs Neck A++++ the pizza is always fresh and the sauce is the BOMB!!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!!
