Elmhurst Famous Pizza — Restaurant in New York

There’s an older guy who every time you call has an attitude. I placed my order and I asked him how much my total was and he told me he’d call me back in 20 min and just hung up. RUDE! 30 min later I get call from a different guy asking to confirm my order. Apparently the older guy never put it in! I asked him what the point was of taking my order if he never put it in, he said he had just gotten there to replace the older guy. Terrible service.. he just took my number, and waited to be replaced instead of doing his job. Pure laziness! I waited an additional hour to get my food after that. I hope...

I will say food was not bad it was good. Pizza tastes good. Their service is horrible. I understand restaurants get pizza and empathy is important but over 2 hours to deliver 2 pies? I live 3 minutes away from the restaurant so this was disappointing. I get tipping is important but the driver asked “where is my tip”. Why would I want to tip when my food came over 2 hour. I give this place like a 5/10, and only cause the guy was nice. Walked in and didn’t get what I wanted. I asked if I can use the bathroom anyway and he said yes. I decided to later buy a personal pie, as they don’t do slices. Honestly, it could have been better. The dough was a bit soft and the sauce had a bitter aftertaste to it. The cheese kind of felt ok.
