Where to even begin. I placed my order online so that the order could be ready by the time I finished work so I could pick it up on the way home, order placed and paid for online. Maybe that was the problem? Once you receive the money you no longer care about service? I arrive and give them the name for the order, sign and tip (almost 50% because happy holidays) and am asked to wait outside for my order which I don't question at first because covid. But no one else is asked to wait outside in the cold like I am. I'm not given an estimate of time and I watch at least 8 more people come in and place their orders and leave with their food without waiting outside either. (Is it perhaps because none of them were as dark in complexion as I am?) One sole person is also asked to wait outside (I guess) and even they receive their food before I do. No one has acknowledged me, no one is inside and I am not offered to get out of the cold and wait inside. Finally when one of the employees comes out with SOMEONE ELSE"S ORDER, he has to acknowledge me and asks what I'm waiting for again (my order was not large and they confirmed half of it was ready when I went in earlier). So here I am 20 minutes later finally receiving my food because I can't be ignored any longer and I get home to find the food is lukewarm, the garlic knots are hard as a rock and greasy as all get out. Called back in 40 min got told that they didn't send out my order bc of an issue with the website. The owner told me I should've called. What's the point of a website if it doesn't work? Read moreWe order from Frank & Danny’s regularly. Very good food. However, tonight we ordered a Caesar salad with no croutons as my mother is highly allergic to gluten (throat closing type allergic). Don’t worry about that though, they give us a Caesar salad loaded with croutons (like literally a cup). When I called to complain for a replacement, the girl who answered the phone used the excuse “it’s a Friday night... we’re very busy, don’t know when it will get to you.” Obviously too busy that they make a HUGE mistake that could have sent my mother to the hospital.
