Gia's Pizza deserves more attention than it gets. While the sauce and cheese could use a slight boost, the dough and texture are on a completely different level and this is the closest you will get to L'Industrie or some of the other more hype spots in this part of Queens. I have always been a fan of Andrew Bellucci's pies and was loyal to his spot since Philomena's does not deliver here, so finding Gias was a pleasant surprise.

You can taste the 48 to 72 hour fermentation in the dough. It has that perfect chew and gluten development, though not quite as airy as L'Industrie, without becoming that dense bread-like chew you get when places cut corners on fermentation and lean too heavily on bread flour.

Gia's imo nails the balance here as he crust has structure and flavor which results in a more airy feel.

If you are serious about pizza and want something high quality at a fair price in Astoria, this is the only spot in the area that satisfies that craving when I do not feel like making it at home.

I have tried every place that delivers around here and Gia's is definitely...

Wow! I can't say enough good things about Gias pizza. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizza. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the pizza - absolutely divine! The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside, and the toppings are fresh and plentiful. Whether you're a traditionalist or an adventurous eater, they have something for everyone. And don't even get me started on the chicken park rolls, they're addictive! Plus, the cozy ambiance and reasonable prices make it a go-to spot for a casual dinner or a quick bite with friends. Do yourself a favor and check out Gias Pizza - you won't be...

Gia’s Pizza is a must-visit slice spot! If you’re in the mood for pizza that’s unique, flavorful, and seriously satisfying, Gia’s delivers every time.

Their slices are next-level — especially the Grandma’s Slice which has the perfect combo of crispy crust, sweet sauce, and melty cheese. And don’t sleep on the Vodkaroni Slice — spicy, creamy, and totally addictive!

My top picks (in order): 🍕 Grandma’s Slice – flavor perfection 🍕 Vodkaroni Slice – spicy + creamy dream 🍗 Buffalo Chicken Pinwheel – crispy and craveable 🍕 Buffalo Chicken Slice – the right kind of kick 🧀 Philly Cheese Pinwheel – melty, cheesy, satisfying

Whether you're a pizza purist or down to try creative combos, Gia’s has something for you....

Went here when it was Nona’s pizza which I also liked and I must say big improvement. Brand new owners, brand new pizzeria. The redesign is so fresh inside. Everything is so clean and open. Food wise…excellent. Bought a large cheese pie and brought it over to my friends house and everyone was raving about how good the pizza was, kept asking me where I got it from. Excited to go back and try out some of their dishes. Pizza is a definite A++++ I like the style, I like the food, a definite recommend.
