I visited this café after seeing their drinks on social media and was really looking forward to trying them. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t positive.
Someone ordered the same drink as me, and I placed my order first. Her drink was made right away, but mine wasn’t started until I went back to ask about it. When it was finally made, it came out looking completely different from what was advertised online. When I politely asked about the difference, I was told it would “taste the same,” which didn’t feel like a helpful response. I requested a remake, but instead of completing it, the barista moved on to a larger group order and left mine unfinished.
Overall, I felt overlooked as a customer and didn’t get the product I expected. I really wanted to enjoy this spot, but based on this experience I wouldn’t...

Lattes were passable, more acidic than i would expect an espresso roast to be, and lacked that fresh toasty dark roast fragrance/flavor at first sip that i look forward to. But let me temper that with the fact that they traveled three blocks before being tasted. It’s not that far but maybe it affected the flavor??
The plain and chocolate croissants were more expensive than at my neighborhood French bakery across the river, and the texture and taste were on par with something from the morning coffee cart on any Manhattan corner: Zero flakiness; no hint of buttery goodness. They were like bulk supermarket stuff. Maybe they were left over from...
