I live far from them but I saw their rating and wanted to give their food a try. I ordered ginger chicken asking them to make it less spicy. When food came I could smell the greasy oil in which chicken was battered fried, that was good enough to lose appetite. In one minute my mouth started burning, it was filled with killer red chillies. Mind you, I have eaten spicy food all my life but this kind of chilly they use in food was good enough to kill your stomach and intestines. I called the girl who took my order and threw the food in the garbage in front of her. They gave me chicken with broccoli as a sustitute that was the most tasteless chicken with broccoli I ever ate. In their menu most of their food is "fried con'fusion" and very unhealthy. I rather eat regular Asian food then their "deep fried greasy...
Read moreThis is a dine in experience. Restaurant is very clean. Ordering easy and cashier guide you with patience. I ordered general tso’s chicken, shrimp, mixed vegetables, chicken wings and buffalo wings. Some with fries, some with fried rice. They have white rice option too and no extra charge for fried rice. All of them are delicious. I really liked their to-go containers which you use for dine in too. High quality microwaveable and reusable plastic. Also very reasonable price, I wouldn’t mind even little bit high but thanks for keeping low. Overall this is a 5+ take out place. Being halal is another plus. Definitely come back for pick up. Worth to drive from Staten Island. Keep doing whatever you are doing.
Note: I have been there many times since the first visit. Same quality, same...
Read moreThe meat is clearly higher quality than other American Chinese food places since it is halal. However for the price it is still not worth it for certain items. While some items are priced on point and taste great others are great but priced completely inconsistently and incorrectly. A great example are the crab rangoons. Great, but clearly fried from frozen and $8 for 8 tiny rangoons? The same cost is for 4 wings plus fries. Or a small dish with complimentary rice (fried rice is not good, get the plain). So yeah, overall a huge upgrade from your average American Chinese but still not locked in enough in regard to price or being consistent. Thanks though. I love close and will definitely be back once in a while when the...
