Healthy Choice — Restaurant in New York

I had to update my review that I originally gave when this store first opened. I live fairly close by and spend my money here quite frequently. When this place first opened the staff was attentive and friendly. Up until now there have been at least 4 different grill cooks/sandwich makers. I think having the sandwich makers write down customers orders is a perfect way to handle this situation. I've gotten many things on my orders I never even asked for. Today, I came in to order a bagel with nova lox. One worker had to come over and show what that item even was to the sandwich maker, and without even asking me or the worker who helped originally, he threw a big pile of cold smoked nova lox on the grill 😂😂 also while making two other peoples sandwiches in that time before I noticed the cold smoked salmon burning 😂 that item is expensive I'm sorry it had to go to waste. Throughout all the different grill cooks I mentioned there is a strong language barrier. Not at all is that complaint, just highlighting a problem I've consistently faced here and dont want other people to come across as well. I will continue to shop here the food is great but please improve customer interaction and communication 🙏🏽 people always assume I speak Spanish because of my appearance...

Too Expensive! We live in the Bronx, not in Manhattan with those ridiculous high prices.

Today was the last time I went in there cause how you charge tax for energy drinks?? I bought C4 energy drinks there before and was never charged tax so I went in there yesterday and asked how much were the C4 energy drinks because it looks like they removed the price from under the shelf so I took 2 cans to the front to ask the guy behind the counter and he took the cans and scanned it and said $6.52 and I looked at my wife as if to say "How there's tax on energy drinks"?? I said ok and paid for it because it was raining and didn't feel like going to Fordham Road where it's $2.50 each can with NO TAX but I only did it this time and this time ONLY and will never go inside this store ever again especially with their ridiculous...

I called the store because I wanted to know why there’s so many strange transactions on my card from the store when I live in California they hung up. This store allows people to use card numbers without the physical card to make purchases of hundreds of dollars worth of items without a physical card in hand or ID that is theft and it’s illegal to allow people to use credit or debit cards without the physical card in hand. This has already been reported to the state and to the BBB. This has been an ongoing problem with this healthy choice store in the Bronx for over a year now allowing people to use stolen credit card numbers from people in California and use them in their store. Shameful. The owners of the store are extremely disrespectful and hateful to allow this to go on...
