Honey Fitz — Restaurant in New York

I went to this restaurant on Saturday, July 26th at 12:00 PM. While I have to say the food was actually quite good, the experience was completely ruined by the horrible service we received from our waitress.

She was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment we sat down. She didn’t greet us properly, didn’t bring us any utensils, and when we politely asked for them, she responded in a very disrespectful and sarcastic tone. It felt like we were bothering her just by being there.

Good food is important, but respectful and attentive service is just as essential—and unfortunately, that was completely missing during our visit.

If she doesn’t like her job, that’s her choice—but she has no right to ruin the atmosphere of the place with her bad attitude, unpleasant tone, and unfriendly demeanor. Her behavior created a very negative impression that took away from what could have been a...

And the drinks? Incredible. Whether it’s a classic cocktail or a signature creation, each one is balanced, bold, and beautifully served. The bar team clearly knows what they’re doing.

I went to Honey Fitz on a mellow Tuesday evening looking for some drinks & food that would warm my soul. Boy, did I find what I was looking for! From the delicious, lip smackingly good cocktails, to the fish & chips (just like the captain ordered), the Prince Abou’s Smash Burger (10/10 would smash again), & without a doubt, THE BEST Guinness on tap this fellow has had in all of Astoria!

But what’s a captain without his compass? The credits to this carefully curated selection of cocktails & bites I enjoyed so much go to Gaby! It was like she knew exactly what I needed when I walked in. The service & the knowledge of Honey Fitz’ items were top notch. I left smiling from ear to ear & with a very happy belly. I can’t wait to go back for their new spring menu items...
