House Pizza — Restaurant in New York

House pizza is my local pizzeria. Aside from the occasional lazy food prep and delivery they're usually good. Well I went to grab a slice yesterday Dec. 30, 2014 and I noticed the worker was outside under the street grate in the basement. He came upstairs, held the door open for me and proceeds to grab a slice and put it in the oven. He never washed his hands or even grabbed a glove. Granted he did not put his hands on that slice but he did touch a pie he'd taken out of the oven. I was immediately digusted. I mean New York is definitely not the cleanest city and after working in a basement outside in the street Im sure his hands were filthy. I asked him if they had a sink that he could wash his hands and he refused! Actually refused to clean his hands while prepping and serving food! The nerve! Obviously upset I denied the food. In an effort to explain he says you'll never find a pizzeria cleaner than this. The remark made my stomach hurt. To justify trying to serve customers in that condition by comparing filth in other locations is just low . Being clean and food prep go hand in hand. Apparently these guys didn't...

Went to this local pizza place 2 weekends ago (September 23) and ordered 3 slices (2 for me and 1 for my gf). Sat down by the table next to the window and my girlfriend looks down and what does she see plugged into the wall??? (Yes - you read right - PLUGGED IN) A MOUSE!!! I could not believe my eyes. At first I thought it was some sick Halloween joke but then realized it was an actual mouse!!! Obviously, we got up and told the guy behind the country that we were going to cancel our order. He didn't even look up from the pie he was making. Just said "ok". I then told him - "We are leaving because there is a dead mouse plugged into your wall" and all he said was "ok". Are you kidding me?!?!? Needless to say - avoid this place at...

Horrible. Food arrived 2 hours after we placed the order. We called after 1 hour and they told us "it's on its way" only to wait one extra hour. I called at the 2 hour mark and this man had the audacity to say "I understand if it was 3 or 4 hours, we're busy..." as if waiting 2 hours for food was normal. I told him it's okay to be busy, but he needs to let customers know and let them make the decision if we want to wait that long. Offered nothing for our inconvenience, 0 customer service. Then the delivery person arrived with no change. The food was terrible, we ordered a margarita pizza and what we got was anything but. Never ordering from this place again, would not recommend,...
