Judy & Punch — Restaurant in New York

I recently had the privilege of visiting Judy and Punch, where I had the pleasure of encountering Cole, an incredibly skilled and passionate bartender. From the moment I approached the bar, I knew I was in for a treat.

Not a great place to go alone. I was halfway through my 2nd drink when the bartender asked if I wanted another, and I said not right now, but I would like some water. He said, "our water station is over there," and pointed to the opposite end of the bar from where I was. It was not that busy in there. I'm a female, by myself, with belongings. In addition to the literal steps I had to take to other end of the bar, I had to take steps to secure my drink (put a nasty coaster on the top, as I was also not given a napkin), secure my work bag, and also make it clear that I was still sitting there so no one would steal my seat. Not impressed. I'm sure they won't miss...

I tried this place once and it was ok. Mediocre drinks that are pricey. However, after seeing their lack of being COVID considerate, I'm never going back. They let customers stand around in close proximity without requiring or enforcing masks. So loud, disrespectful, rude and has no concern for slowing the spread. Also, tell your customers to stop blocking the walkway outside!!! There are other INNOCENT pedestrians who need to pass and do not need to suffer COVID...
