Ordered jerk chicken and got served a dry, old, hard piece of meat that tasted like it had been sitting out all day. I went back and asked for my money back. The guy behind the counter told me “the chicken looked good.” I showed him a photo and even zoomed in on how dried out it was — he still insisted it was just made. There’s no way that chicken was fresh. Between the poor food quality and the lack of accountability, I won’t be coming back. Save your money and go somewhere that respects both their food and their customers. This is unacceptable and a disgrace to all Carribean countries. This is why the restaurants name starts with a K. K for killing and destroying the jerk chicken recipe. Even if it was just made today. You can clearly tell the chicken is over cooked and dry. I still strongly believe it was old. Horrible! He can say I'm crazy but the proof is in the pictures

It’s so refreshing when you try a black / Caribbean owned restaurant and have no complaints. The guy that served me was super nice and friendly. The restaurant was extremely clean. It’s a mix of Guyanese, Jamaican and Trinidadian. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. So many great options, I couldn’t decide on one thing so I decided to try an Ackee patty, a lunch special meal which consisted of rice and peas, fried chickens and cabbage and a shark burger with sweet potato fries. EVERYTHING was amazing. There was a bit of a wait for the shark burger as they make it fresh to order which I can appreciate. My sister had the lunch special and as you can see by the photo, she thoroughly enjoyed her meal. I can’t wait to return to try their smoothies and wraps and bowls. I wish they were in my neighborhood but I’ll be back :)

I ordered the sweet chilli salmon with white rice okra, spinach, pumpkin, and string beans. I order this every time and it’s always good. The rice was the perfect sticky texture, the chilli salmon was sweet, spicy and flavorful, the okra wasn’t slimy and it was well seasoned, the spinach was well seasoned and the string beans were also very flavorful. The guy behind the counter is always nice and very helpful with menu questions. The counter is always clean and you can accrue points with every purchase so I will be back

Hey now!!! When I tell y'all that I got put on to something that I would like for every foodie to try out. This Is It!!! KAIRIBBEAN ISLAND MIX FOR THE WIN 🏆 🙌🏾 👌🏾 FIVE STARS 🌟 The food is something I could eat Morning!, Noon!, and Night! The flavor profile is something I've been looking for since the early 2000s, when (Island people) stopped cooking with love and extra seasoning at their restaurants/establishments. But they have it down pack to the Max. With love, flavor, and soul at the top of the list. The food is amazing. And I had the last of the food they had for the day for my first time eating here. It was so good I couldn't stop thinking about eating it freshly made every day for the rest of my day's. If it tastes this good stale, could it possibly be better fresher? Now I'm back two days later and at an early enough time to get 2 orders fresh just for myself 😁. My new cousin Kayvon (Just found out he's my new cousin lol) is the perfect welcoming vibe to the business. With a light and an energy that matches the quality of the food. Need I even explain anymore??? No because it's all about the food experience ya'll...

First time eating from this Gem and I must say I was extremely pleased with the service , how fast my food arrived and how good and fresh my food actually was . Now it’s not often you go to a restaurant where the food itself taste home cooked . This food taste like it was home cookeddddd. My son is such a picky eater and baby he ate !!!!!!! The curry chicken was well seasoned and very fresh , tasty , juicy ; I can go on an on . I had jasmine rice with curry chicken , chowmein and plantain . My son’s dish was the jerk wings, rice and please and bake Mac . Delicious, delicious ,delicious not one complaint. I haven’t tried breakfast yet but I will and I will also be trying all other lunch and dinner options as well. Thanks for such great service . Black owned business too , get into it 😃 andddd very business oriented, respectful, kind , professional young owner. I know this because I called the restaurant to place my order and wanted to make sure I was getting the best of the best for my money and he was detailed oriented, told me a few of his faves to narrow down my options and super patient . My new...

I discovered this gem randomly trying to find an eatery in the neighborhood. I looked at the reviews prior to taking a walk over & was finding it hard to believe that EVERY review was 5 Stars. I for sure thought these patrons were given an incentive for their reviews but after this remarkable experience, I see that they earned every 5 Star review fair & square. The service from Kevon was amazing! He was friendly & accommodating. His energy is electric. When my family & I arrived it was the end of the day, so there was hardly any food left & it looked sketchy. I had the ends of the spinach, okra & cabbage. Fresh salmon was made for our Rasta pasta bowls. The flavors were out of this world babyyyyy!!! If I received the last of the food & the flavors slapped, I could only imagine what everything is hitting for when it’s nice & fresh. The establishment is clean & welcoming. The portions are filling. So I said all of this to say, RUN don’t WALK to this new blessed gem the Lord...
