A & K Beauty Supply & Discount Store — Local services in New York

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. I used to go to this store all the time however their customer service has drastically declined, I bought a wig from them just yesterday. And when I took it out the box it looks NOTHING like it does in the picture. When I tried to return it, they tell me after the fact that it is final sale and when I express that I have work in an hour and it looks nothing like in the picture they tell me that’s my problem and told me to leave. For a store that works in an inner city community, you would think they would provide us fair customer service, some type of compassion, or understanding. However, once they think the transaction is over they become dismissive, rude, and very prejudice. If you are someone who care about customer service and having a store that shows their customers any type of compassion, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING...

Great service, very nice to interact with and the owner always does the best to find exactly what you or very close alternative at a price that best suits your budget. Also there is almost always a special promotion giving you a discount to the point that in the 2½ - 3 years that I've shopped there I can honestly without any qualms that I've NEVER paid full price for my hair & I only wear top shelf, full lace, 13x5, 100% human hair, wigs/bundles/units. I never walk out unhappy feeling...

prejudice as hell I notice all the beauty supply stores I go to with south Asian owners, have their employees follow you around the store and stare at you while you look at stuff it’s so uncomfortable and ruins the shopping experience. I know for sure if it was their own people shopping they wouldn’t be staring them down but of course they do that to poor...
