La Nostra Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

I am ashamed to say, I've live/worked E.Harlem ALL My life and I've never had food catered from here. I'm Very Glad to say "It Was Fantastic". I ordered a small catering job (wanted to be sure). Ordered 1/2 tray chicken francese, eggplant rollatine & garden salad. I was pleasantly impressed on all three counts. When I first ordered I asked the owner if the food will be fresh or frozen. Of course, he says "Yes, it's always Fresh", and it was. Chicken came out moist & tender. Eggplant was breaded n fried, not greasy. Sauce and ricotta was fresh. There were 8 hungry guys. We all eat satisfactorily and alittle more. Went down excellently w/2 bottles of Reisling. Gotta order from...

Poor customer service!!! I placed an order for almost $160 which was inclusive of about seven orders of garlic knots. They provided me with one 3 ounce cup of marinara sauce. I wasn't aware of this until I got home and called. I called and informed them I had guest arriving in about 20 minutes and asked if they could deliver the sauce. The gentleman told me one there would be a charge for each cup of source I would need for the garlic nuts that I ordered. Secondly, he said he would not deliver it just for the sauce I had to buy...

When I am in NY I come to this place right down the street from my Grandfather's building a few blocks away I haven't been since 2009 but I still remember like yesterday the best pizza spot in Harlem for sure! I took my son there when he was little and we still have the pictures being in this spot good memories good food, good customer service. I live in Austin, TX, the next time I am back in Harlem I will be going for sure just like I use to back in the day best pizza I have ever had...
