My visit to Le Pain Quotidien in Central Park was a delightful experience from start to finish. Located in the beautiful Mineral Springs area of the park, this café feels like a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city. Surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the gentle sounds of nature, it’s the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a meal while exploring Central Park. The service was friendly and efficient. We were greeted with a smile, and our table was ready right away. Even though the park was busy, the atmosphere here was calm and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating and a relaxed vibe. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was fresh, well-presented, and delicious. The Croque Madame Sandwich was rich and satisfying, with perfectly toasted bread, creamy béchamel sauce, and a fried egg on top that added the perfect touch. The Egg Cheddar Avo Breakfast Sandwich was equally impressive – the creamy avocado paired perfectly with the sharp cheddar and fluffy egg, making it a fresh and flavorful option. The Organic Dutch Mini-Pancakes were a real treat – light, fluffy, and slightly sweet, served in just the right portion for sharing or enjoying as a light dessert. For drinks, we had a refreshing Iced Latte and a Small Latte, both smooth and well-balanced, as well as two fresh orange juices that tasted vibrant and naturally sweet. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the setting. Sitting outside with the park’s greenery all around, enjoying great food and coffee, felt relaxing and special. It’s rare to find a place where you can have a high-quality meal in such a peaceful and scenic environment right in the heart of New York. Overall, Le Pain Quotidien in Central Park is an ideal stop for breakfast, brunch, or a light lunch. The combination of fresh, flavorful food, friendly service, and the beautiful surroundings makes it a must-visit spot. I’ll definitely come back here every time I’m in the park

HOW ABOUT BREAKFAST WITH A CENTRAL PARK VIEW THIS SPRING? I have been coming here for at least 15 years. This is definitely a NYC gem for those who love good food while enjoying beautiful nature all around. I PERSONALLY ENJOY THIS PLACE THE MOST IN THE SPRING when it transports me to an enchanted setting of all sorts of birds flying around, chirping sweet tunes that crashes into one another forming a pleasantly chaotic symphony, tree fragrance of all kinds invading my nostrils with the coffee aroma under my nose, wind that comes and goes just to sprinkle cherry blossom petals in the air down the walking path slope. To top it off, the service was impeccable. My waiter, a happy smiling soul went out of his way to get me a bread basket even though it’s not part of the menu anymore. If every breakfast morning was paradise this would be it. Want more restaurants and food ideas from around the world? Follow food_vivant on Instagram

Nice to see a Le Pain Quotidien in the middle of Central Park. We enjoyed our lunch with a healthy dose of people Bs dog watching.

Le Pain Quotidien is renowned for its charming and rustic ambiance, creating a cozy atmosphere that is both inviting and comfortable. The interior decor often features communal wooden tables, soft lighting, and a mix of vintage and modern elements. It’s an ideal spot for a leisurely breakfast, brunch, or casual lunch while enjoying the nearby Central Park.

One of the standout features of Le Pain Quotidien is its commitment to using high-quality, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. The menu typically includes a variety of freshly baked bread, pastries, and other baked goods. Their famous communal bread is often served with spreads like hazelnut praline, organic butter, and house-made jams, providing a delightful start to your meal.

For breakfast, you can expect a range of options, from classic croissants and pastries to hearty, health-conscious choices like avocado toast and yogurt parfaits. Their coffee and tea selections are also notable, offering a perfect complement to your morning pick-me-up.

When it comes to lunch and brunch, Le Pain Quotidien usually offers a selection of sandwiches, salads, and quiches. The Tartines, open-faced sandwiches served on their signature bread, are a popular choice. They typically offer various toppings, such as smoked salmon, avocado, and goat cheese, catering to different tastes.

Le Pain Quotidien’s commitment to sustainability extends to its tableware and practices. You’ll often find communal dining options, which encourage sharing and create a warm, convivial atmosphere. Plus, their use of organic and locally sourced ingredients aligns with eco-conscious dining principles.

Service at Le Pain Quotidien is usually friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Whether you’re a solo visitor looking for a quiet spot to read or a group seeking a cozy brunch, the staff is generally accommodating.

Regarding pricing, Le Pain Quotidien’s menu typically falls in the mid-range category for New York City dining. While not the cheapest option, it offers good value for the quality of ingredients and the overall experience...

Went there to grab a morning coffee Oct 3 around 10am. When my turn came in the queue, I clearly told the staff “hi, can I have a iced black coffee” And she asked me if I want regular size, without confirming the order. And when I asked her pointing regular cup displayed in the counter, if that is the regular sized cup, she didn’t answer my question and asked if I want regular milk. I thought she’s asking if I wanted to add some milk in my coffee. So said no.

When I tried to confirm my order through the monitor before I pay, she skipped it so fast, even the tipping page, I was not even able to have a look at it or decide to tip or no tip. As I saw the staff waited for a person in front of me to select no tip and put signature through the monitor, I felt somehow disrespected for that, too. Why she doesn’t wait for me even a second to tip, or decide to tip. Lol

And she suddenly gave me matcha latte.

When I told her that’s not what I ordered and supposed to be black coffee, she gave me unpleasant look and insisted that I ordered matcha latte. How can I wrongly pronounce black coffee to match latte, which of two words don’t have anything similar to hear. Even she didn’t offer me to refund and charge me for the right price. When I told her 7.07 dollar was charged to me, and asked if that is the right price for black coffee, She still showed me very rude attitude, saying “you ordered me matcha latte” Very reluctantly adjusted the charging amount when I multiply insisted that I ordered coffee.

I get sometimes staffs can get the order wrong, when it’s busy and lots of orders stacked up. That’s why you have to confirm what was the order you have just taken. So don’t blame your mistake on customer. I haven’t even ordered matcha latte in my life how am I supposed to mistakenly order matcha. Be nice, I don’t know what was going on your mind but don’t affect...
