I used to frequent Lilian’s Pizzeria from as early as I could remember up to my college years. When I heard that The old school, sit down Lilian’s was being sold I was skeptical. I went in to get a slice and it wasn’t the same. The quality control was noticeably different. Chopped vegetables and garlic on specialty slices were poorly cut into large chunks. The loveable, thin plain slice was not the same. I gave them the benefit of the doubt under the impression that new management meant new adjustments which would take time. I recently ordered again, ordering the peppers, artichokes, and spinach slice. Similar issues still stood. Every slice contained an improperly cut pepper with a spiky, baked stem still attached to the cuts of peppers. I had an awful feeling when I bit into one as it scratched the back of my throat. The pizza seemed to be doused with the pepper seeds that were not scraped, or even reduced. I enjoy heat, but this is not right. I wish I did not have to write...

Sadly what had been a truly great place has gone off a cliff since new owners. Been going here for over 10 years, my wife has been going here for all her life. Ordered Broccoli garlic.. no sauce, what looked like finely chopped Broc covered in garlic salt. Sausage/meatball pie was a sloppy mess of bland sauce and little cheese. Plain pie was meh as compared to their great old pie.

I must say the quality of the pizza has greatly improved (it's still not their old pie) but it is good. The meals we had were excellent with portion size not being crazy big. Will be...
Read moreHORRIBLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. SOGGY AND COLD WITH COMPLAINTS UPON ARRIVAL.
After waiting 1.5 hours for my small order (50-60 min expected delivery window), I called the shop. They said it was traffic from concert. Google maps confirmed it, 7 minute drive in light traffic from door to door. 40 minutes later, my bell rings. The driver beats on my door and I open, only to be greeted by a complaint about how the elevator in the building is not working properly. After continuing to complain about how he almost fell into the elevator, he told me how very lucky I was that he didn't drop my pie (true, I didnt want to wait another 2 hours from a pizza shop located 10 blocks away). Soggy and cold upon arrival. Next time, arrive on time and you wont be too hurried to read the sign on the elevator that explained that it was out of order and being serviced tomorrow....
