This is one of the best examples of typical NY slices! If you are looking for something to eat on the go, this is exactly where you wanna go. First, the variety is just HUGE, there are over 20 pizzas pre-made waiting for you. I like it like that, because you can choose right with your eyes, not off the menu as usual. The pizzas are super tasty, although I was trying to choose the freshest I've seen, and pepperoni/cheese slice was right from the oven; all of them were decent-looking and tasted great. Yea, they may seem a bit pricey at 4$ a slice, however, its fine considering the location. In Brooklyn similar were at $2.5, so it's fine. Staff was friendly and quite fast, you can tell this place gets crowded during rush hours and these guys are prepared for that well. A little drawback is for cleanness, I can't say the place is shiny... Ovens need some good clean, as well as everything behind the counter. Floors and tables require more attention as well, so that's why I'm taking the star down. For the takeout, however, you should definitely consider those guys. I've seen a lot of people from neighboring buildings picking up entire pies for their offices, while in line, which says people definitely like the place.
Looks like the place have been recently renamed, because I've seen the name both inside and out as Little Italy Pizza, however, online this particular place is marked as...
Read moreI recently visited Little Italy Pizza Church street Location with my special needs child and was extremely disappointed by the lack of empathy and understanding displayed by the staff. Despite my son needing to urgently use the restroom, we were denied access and were told that we had to make a purchase first.
As a parent of a special needs child, I understand the challenges that can come with such situations, and I was shocked by the insensitivity shown by the staff at Little Italy pizza Church Location. Their refusal to allow a child in need to use the restroom without making a purchase is unacceptable and goes against basic human decency. Not only was the staff's response disappointing, but their overall attitude was rude and unwelcoming. It is disheartening to see a business prioritize profit over basic human needs and compassion.
I urge the management of Little Italy Pizza to reconsider their policies and provide better training to their staff on how to handle sensitive situations with empathy and understanding. Every customer, regardless of their situation, deserves to be treated with respect and kindness.
In light of my experience, I cannot recommend Little Italy Pizza to others who value empathy and compassion in...
Read moreThe establishment and its staff especially the front staff are rude, disrespectful and standoffish. We ordered a large quantity yesterday (7 to be exact) for staff meeting and not only was the price ridiculous but when told we were an organization, they were rude in asking for supporting information. We told them we would be ordering the next day and to keep the information they asked for. However, the person who handled this was rude and said they did'n't have time for a conversation and to just call the next day. The next day, we called and they demanded further information that we provided the day before. When the person went to discuss the order, they were rude, dismissive and downright obnoxious. Unacceptable behavior for a business to conduct themselves in this manner especially with city agencies working in the area who are trying to give small businesses our business. In addition, the pizza wasn't even that great tasting. For better pizza, go to Norm's Pizza, the flavor and quality are better and do not charge an...
