Its been a little over a week that I went to get a UV Gel refill and the service was not good. An old man started doing my nails but wasn’t doing a good job, for which I requested a different nail technician. UV Gel is not applied correctly at this place, I can say this because I’ve been getting this service for more than 5 years and know exactly how the process is like. Here, the gel was applied too close to the cuticle, to the point that it couldn’t get filed properly and now, after almost two weeks the gel is lifted and my hair is getting trapped in them. I paid almost $90 for this and didn’t like how they work with gel and how they file nails. I bought a Groupon to try this new place in my neighborhood. When I was checking out, the lady said $85, plus simple design and 2 nails added, she then said, $104. I then I told her I had a Groupon, she looked baffled like she didn't know what I was talking about and then said, $135, I replied, “How did the price go up?” The value of the Groupon is $85, so $85 off of $104, you can't change the price higher because I have a Groupon. She first argued this is not how Groupon works, I replied, “It does, $85 off”. She wrote down on the receipt $104, you can't just change the price because I have a Groupon for $85 off, we went back and fort for 10 mins, I became frustrated and just said, charge me the $135, I have somewhere to be. I gave her a tip for her work, BUT NEVER AGAIN! YOU CAN'T CHANGE PRICES TO GO HIGHER BECAUSE I HAVE A GROUPON. She didn't know I had a Groupon till after she finalized the...

I don’t usually write reviews but this was one of the worst manicures I’ve had.

I’ve never been charged for cutting my nails. I understand Chinese and heard her asking someone else midway through my service if she should charge for that and they said yes. It’s ridiculous in my opinion to charge me $10 for cutting my nails shorter when I’m paying for $80 for a gel manicure with polish.

I asked for almond shape and she made them square like- more like coffin shaped. I kept asking her to fix it and she just wasn’t getting it right. Not only that but she was rude and seemed unhappy to be there the whole time.
