Kitchen called Lori Jayne inside a cool bar in Bushwick The bar is Alphaville, .the food being fished out here are just pure co fort. Nothing on the menu is less than deeelish!

Tenders, nugs and wings , steak frites and a solid burge are some for the main things in their great menu. The beef fat skewers are insane. The new chiangking chimichurri sauce on the steak is insane!!

Sam the chef and owner is a cool dude who just wants to please folks with great tasty food at an affordable price.

Folks were lining up half hour before the kitchen opened up and started placing orders and I can see why.

These were great, especially the tenders. You taste a hint of the brine and the flavors in the crust. The meat is warm, moist and juicy Wow!

Tenders marinated overnight in Crystal hot sauce, buttermilk, their secret spice mix and dredged in a mix that includes corn meal, AP flour and rice flour

Crystal hot sauce Garlic Blue cheese Grana padana cheese The sauce is amazing and if you let the wings sit in that sauce for a bit, wow!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a few years after seeing it on the Tok. Since it’s in bushwick, the spot is a travel for me. I went one time at night on a time crunch and that was a bad decision. There were lines and lines of people towards the bar. So the second time I went around 6pm and I think it was just opening.

Omg it was so loud! Like, can’t hear yourself loud. The bartenders were so nice, but I would have just loved the place so much more if they lowered the music 3-5 notches since it’s not 10pm. I ordered the Steak Frites Mala Au Poivre & 1 Cucumber Mint Gimlet. It took about 20 minutes or so with maybe 3-4 people there. So it felt a little long for me for medium rare. The steak was smothered in sauce, so it was a bit hard for me to taste the steak. I did like it with the fries but not sure if the dish is right for me. Also I wasn’t expecting to pay almost $50 for a meal and a drink in Bushwick. I do feel like I’ve aged out of a place like this so not sure if this is the place for me. I did see when I left, they were offering earplugs in the front. So everyone is aware it’s loud. But a little confused why they don’t just lower the volume. Star away ! Keep your money ! I’m not the type to leave comments, but this time it was necessary.

First off, the service was incredibly slow. After placing my order for a steak and fries, I sat down, and it took 40 minutes to get my four pieces of meat and fries. The waiter forgot my drink, so I reminded him, only for him to respond with “Sorry, I don’t understand what you’re saying,” before running off in another direction. I literally had to get up and go get my Coke from a tiny glass, which cost me \$5.

The dining area is rarely cleaned, so I had to eat with people’s food containers around me (people buying food from other places) who came to use the unlimited water fountain at the restaurant. Yes, there are many squatters since it's not monitored AT ALL !
