Heard about this place from social media, black owned so I always try to patron a BOB when traveling, this was lack luster. I arrived about 11:18 understanding they close at 12, most restaurants/lounges stop serving 30 min before close. As soon as I walked in the Bartender looked annoyed, and their responses were the same. Asked if kitchen was closed he automatically said yes. Inquired what time they close, he looks at the time and says 11:15pm. Great, I inform them I ubered there and the kitchen time was not detailed online, how would one know? Asked if they could accommodate me, the annoyed Bartender goes to ask and comes back saying I can only order chicken wings, fries or catfish. I chose wings and fries and ordered a drink. Total was around 40 and gratuity was added unnecessarily. That alone is suspect. As a to go order, gratuity added? No. Once I detailed I was not from the area the Bartender became more pleasant, then mentioned taco specials for Tuesday, however remember I was only offered 3 choices originally, too late. He states oh youre missing out. I reminded him of the choices he told me and declined ordering tacos. Glad I did. The CHICKEN WINGS were so DRY. Made no sense how little and folded up they were. So dry, hugging the bone. No way they were made fresh, definitely reheated. The fries were good, but with the low quality and size of the wings, I'm disappointed. The place is very small, would be nice for a gathering. Being from out of town and going out of my way to support a BOB, having the dry wings and disposition of the Bartender, no thank you. Thanks for allowing me to order but if it's at the expense of the food quality and less than savory customer service; don't accept the order, post the kitchen hours, and give some grace to people traveling to patron. Unfortunately I did not love my experience

So I found this place, this gem and man it's fantastic, Lucky (the owner) is such a beautiful spirit, the entire staff is good and well managed, the food is great, the drinks are poppin and hospitality is stellar. This is everything Bed-Stuy and everything upscale in the neighborhood, well that's what the ambience gives off. You've gotta try this place for drinks, happy hour, brunch and their killer wknd specials. I'm getting dressed to head there now. Did I mention that there's a private room for events with sliding barn doors and a pending backyard, niiiice. Try the horseshoe or clover for a good nice cocktail that hits! Oh, their to-go drinks are a huge plus and skrooong lol tell Lucky Trey says hiiiiiiii lol great place 4 sure, oh and it's beautiful, check out the restroom and the floors ...I'm definitely a fan, always wanted something located close by with a get away n luxurious feel with reasonable prices, I'm a fan for this good vibe and great diverse camaraderie.

Visited this new #blackownedbusiness with my girls for brunch. This spot does not allow you to make reservations so we walked in about 45 mins after they opened on a Sunday. It's a pretty intimate space & our party of 5 was the largest present. We were initially seated at a very small table & were told we just missed the opportunity to sit elsewhere. In less than 5 minutes we were told we would be moved to the private dining area in the rear and we were delighted. There was a DJ and a 2 for 1 mimosa special which definitely set the brunch party vibes. We were pleasantly surprised to be served by the owner, Lucky, who was very nice. The food was pretty tasty. For the table we ordered sliders, teriyaki steak, wings and crab cakes. Then for the mains we ordered the Avocado Toast, French Toast bites, Chicken & Waffles, and the Fish & Grits. Overall, the girls and I had a good time. The food was good and reasonably priced. So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood!

So….. I specifically came to this establishment because they were given a bad review and I wanted to see for myself if it was deserved now while the patron had the negative experience that she had I am not taking away her feelings for her experience but sometimes our judgement can be clouded because of a simple misunderstanding. Me and my friend went to this establishment on Monday and sat at the end of the bar near the kitchen. Upon entering the lounge I noticed that it was a very small crowd already in there and the vibe was amazing. We ordered our drinks (Shoutout to the Bartender Chris who makes an amazing lemon drop) after about 10 minutes a young woman and young man entered who I mistook the woman for another bartender and the young man for a delivery guy BOY WAS I WRONG. It turns out that the young lady was actually the owner who happens to be a very nice young lady by the way. So….. I said all of that to say this. My experience at this establishment was great I will definitely return probably today for wing day Congratulations to the owner also for being a SUCCESSFUL BLACK BUSINESS WOMAN . And I also feel that the individual who gave the bad review maybe you should give them another chance I have been in that situation where the server was horrible but everything else was okay but because the server I had given them a horrible review and then felt bad about it. Just something to...

I went here for happy hour after some errands in the city and really wished I spent my money elsewhere. We got there around 6:20 ordered drinks and food at 6:25 and food didn’t come out till 7:15. I understand being busy but the couple who arrived 30 mins after us received their food before we did. We were patient and didn’t make a fuss then when the bill came it was $84 that included a 20% service charge which I proceeded to tip nothing on top because service and food was not up to quality. After the bartender tells us that $20 was left on the bill and that my card didn’t go through accusing me of not having enough money on my card (which is impossible). Then when I examined the bill they had added extra drinks that I didn’t order and tried to make me pay for it,( maybe bc I didn’t tip on a check that already has 20% added). When the mistake was pointed out the guy said “I’m gonna take this off your bill” in a condescending way making it seem like he was doing me a favor when it was the their mistake to begin with. The drinks were strong ( too sweet no balance) , cauliflower Arancini had some nice flavors, lucky fries were dry and seasoning was subpar, the lucky sauce was good. Overall will...
